Lot's of presidents have been at the Jamboree. Dubya, Dubya Dad, Nixon (when he was VP), LBJ, Eisenhower, Truman, and FDR were all at a Jamboree. And Obama showed up via video. It's a pretty big event in general.

They're just not normally bitching about politics to 50 thousand kids, demanding their loyalty to him, and talking about orgies.

Well, Trump's saying these things because he wants Sessions to quit without having the fallout associated with firing him, so I'm not sure that quitting is the right move either (though it's tough to imagine someone who would be worse in the role of AG than Sessions, apart from the recusal).

Anyway, I would give almost anything to see McCain vote against this MTP. Mainly to stop whatever bastardized monstrosity the mystery box contains, but also to see Trump have to instantly flip on him after calling him a hero in one of his tweets an hour ago because he doesn't mean a word of it.

Well, I mean, they had at least 2 confirmed no votes on the MTP before right? That meant the bill was dead on arrival.

I really don't think there's an endgame for this beyond getting the MTP to go through though. And that they have to go to these lengths when they literally don't know what they're voting for... Still have no idea how an actual bill gets passed.

this is one of my biggest takeaways from trump's presidency, yeah. his worshipers are so in love with him it's actually cult-ish.
