Yep. At base level Tidus only has enough HP to do one Jecht shot. So if you want to win (and I say go for it), make it count.

There's an amazing goalie you can get early on IIRC. Makes a world of difference if you're going to play Blitzball for the Sigils/Crest down the road

Also, the Jecht Shot is a must

They are almost guaranteed 2 points because they get the ball after every shot you make and they always start one half with it. If not both.

Like I said, just score once, then get the ball and hide behind your goalie. Easy as pie.

Well done. Now give Tidus that Strength sphere and he will be a powerhouse.

As much as I hate Blitzball, you'll need to play it if you want to build on Wakka (overdrives and ultimate weapon).

Use ifrit and valefors overdrives. Charge them up in random battles before you fight the chocobo eater. You can also charge up yunas overdrive as well for 3 aeon overdrives

It isn't even worth the prize to knock them off. Your best bet is using an overdrive then smack them with fire. You should build the overdrives up in the road before the fight

You automatically get the ball if they score.

If you had a first half where the Goers never scored then you're lucky.

Really in X-2 there is no reason to gun for 100%

Just explore at your lesuire and then youtube the endings
