Meant to check this morning to be safe and just never bothered to, so I missed the Corrin bonus today which made my rank plummet from top 1,000 to just inside 12k. Good bye 1200+ feathers.

Elise got 14 boost hours. I think Gaius is a lot weaker than Elise but Elise may have been SFF'd. I think it should be safe to miss the first few boost hours and wait a bit to figure out how many boost hours there will be.

I'm a bit disappointed that Gaius is going to be in the finals. He's easily my least favorite male in this gauntlet. Ah well. I'll probably join that team just to take advantage of the bonus hours.

Actually hrm..

Right now my Team Ranking is about 16k so I'm getting about 1.3k feathers from this(Which is pretty bad compared to my round 1 earnings). I don't think dropping 400 flags will get me to the next feather tier(Which is still below 2k) nor do I expect to drop to 30k rank.


Total rank is 5k so I'm still getting a decent amount of feathers there.


Everyone is going to be burning flags in the final round. I wonder if I can get high enough on Team Gaius... or if I should just join Corrin for the guaranteed 500 victory feathers while still more than likely having a fairly high total rank.

Hahahaha, waited up so I could get the first Gaius bonus hour, and Corrin is beasting so hard, he's actually getting two bonus hours in a row. This is going to be a really interesting finish.

Probably no more bonus hours for Corrin. Gaius is struggling to even take the lead let along trigger a Corrin bonus hour. Timing your flag drops for team Gaius will be tricky. During Merric vs Robin, team Merric got so many bonus hours than they ran out of flags during the closing hours of the match. This lead to poor performance during bonus hours which in turn lead to even more bonus hours to keep them drained of flags. The match ended with 10 straight hours of bonus time for Merric. This was during the flat 3x bonus era but I think there's a chance we see the same thing with Team Gaius.

I cashed in on the LnD banner trying to get Minerva. Got her and Hana. But Minerva is -Atk/+Res. I'll hold onto her and turn Hana into food for Cordelia.

I learned yesterday Goad bonuses stack, but I'm assuming they only stack up to +8 because that would get completely out-of-hand otherwise.

Yankees, I recall you saying Cecilia is underwhelming, and while that's true if she's on her own, it's a complete different story in Horse Emblem. If you have a spare Nino to sac, giving her Gronnblade means she gets +16 Atk with Hone Cavalry 3, another +12 with Fortify Cavalry, and if you stack Goad bonuses on top, she becomes an absolute beast! That means my 4* +Atk Cecilia would potentially have 78 Atk, which is just ridiculous to think about...!

Then again, cavalry bonuses turn anyone into a beast.

Goad/ward bonuses don't have any limit. You could theoretically have 4 armor characters giving each other 12 res and def.

I actually do have a spare Nino finally and that's on the to do list. I think Cecilia stat line isn't impressive, but she's incredibly dangerous by virtue of being a cavalry mage. I think my next 20k feathers will go towards giving Cordelia a firesweep lance. Unbuffed, she will have 55 atk and 43 speed. If only I could pull a Hinoka.

Poor Camillia. I still wouldn't mind getting her, but she is a bit weak. Looking back, I'm glad I got Minerva instead of her from that gauntlet banner. I don't even know what my flier team would be without Minerva, since it absolutely needs her to function. I also got 5* Beruka from that banner, and she's a lot less useful... She dies to any magic and is incredibly slow, and I haven't found a justification to give her Bonfire/Ignis.

Camilla is pretty much dead weight. Her stats are too balanced to be useful, and brave axe doesn't suit her well.

I'd rather have a 5* Beruka honestly. Beruka can wall physical things pretty well and output decent damage with Ignis/Bonfire and Quick Riposte.

Cherche should serve me well in arena assault. Paired with Delthea, she will be initiating with a 61 attack brave weapon. And if I ever get deathblow 3, she can hit 64

I also have a spare Nino, but it's a low priority for me because my team of Reinhardt/Camus/Gunter/filler can take on pretty much anything, moreso if I bring in Priscilla, which I've been doing lately. I love the Reinhardt + Camus combo and take them to just about any non-PvP map that I need to muscle through. They're great for the Chain Assault maps.

I run Camus/Olwen/Xander/Titania. Titania is basically a placeholder for now. Olwen can kill nearly everything, and I gave Xander triangle adept to deal with greens. So, Cecilia is a lower priority for me as well.

I'm up to 9 & 10 now, and didn't have much trouble up until this point. I tried and failed once. There's no rush so I haven't pushed to beat it yet. I'm not looking forward to whats in store for 10 and 11

The only Chain Challenges I never beat were 9/10, 11, and 11/12.

Some noteworthy findings...

Apparently you'll be able to reroll TT for free now. Perhaps one of the improvements mentioned in the Feh video.

And there seems to be a... skill? seal? that disables skills with priority. Likely vantage. Possible desperation as well?

If so then um.... that's a pretty heavy hit for certain units.

It's only the first solo pull right? But if the consecutive pulls are still discounted, then it's like you can do a 5-pull for only 15 orbs which isn't so bad.

We've only had one bound hero battle before and that didn't come with a banner so I wouldn't expect this one to either. I wouldn't be surprised to see an armor or flying banner along with a tempest trial banner tomorrow.

I assume that new skill/seal will vantage and desperation. At least it's a nonbo with vantage so Hector cannot run both.

10.7k feathers. A very nice haul I'd say.

Look up any healer and hold down on their character's icon to hear lines you normally can't hear(Gamepedia also has these but still)

I burned through 1800 flags today. I didn't want to risk it in case the final bonus round didn't make it. In all likelihood, I'll get 6100 feathers out of this round bringing the total to 11600.

102/159 here. Probably a bit behind due to Summer Corrin being my only limited-time unit, and I never even pulled for anyone until Ike was released.
