He comes with a weapon exclusive to him, Cursed Lance.
16 Might, Att/Spd + 2 and accelerates special trigger(-1) Takes 4 damage after combat.
GHB happens late August.

Some of the prizes shown are... Clive, Breath of Life 1 seal, Att Ploy 1 seal(12k and 20k points so there's likely more seals!) August 11th is when this starts.

Some additions to make multi map battles smoother.

Continuous Auto. It's basically like auto battle, except it continues until you clear every map or your team is defeated.

There's a team management system that allows you to reserve up to 10 teams for multi battle maps

There's a normal difficulty for TT, the enemies start at level 10. Good news for brand new players who don't have any/many max level characters yet. Of course there's nothing stopping you for using this as a way to train up fresh recruits from your team(with max level heroes backing them up).

There's now also a scoring bonus. Every day, the first two times you complete the Tempest Trials will earn you triple the points. Assuming Lunatic 7 stays the same, this would mean you'd earn 2115 points.

Bonus allies, in addition to earning you bonus points, now get stat boosts. They'll get a 10 point boost to their HP, and 4 points to all their other stats. Looks like we get to use a bullshit boosted unit for a change! Bonus allies ALSO gain double exp and sp. No word if this stacks with double SP weekend... or the valor skills. If both stacked that would mean 24 sp a kill. But.. let's wait and see before we start salivating too much.


Version 1.6 Update

A new arena mode called Arena Assault! This plays a lot like Squad Assault. You'll fight through 7 battles, and you'll have to use a different team for each fight. Heroes used in a previous fight will be unavailable for future battles. "For experienced summoners only" indeed.

However, special items are available for this mode! There's an Elixir that will full heal your entire party. A Lightning Charm that deals 20 damage to all enemies, and a Special Blade that fully charges the special of all your heroes. And more interestingly of all(that's shown) Infantry Boots that gives your team +1 to their movement speed. For one turn. There's at least 6 other items that they didn't show us any info about. We can take up to three items with us.

The best part? Stamina and Dueling Swords aren't necessary for this type of arena. Awards feature feathers(oh baby!) and something called Sacred Coins. No info on what they can get you as of this moment. The Arena Assault begins August 8th.


Catalog of Heroes

This lets you see all of the heroes you've encountered. Heroes owned will be visible. Heroes you've fought but don't own will have a silhouette, and heroes you've never met will be a ? If you own a hero, you can look at their profile, replay their summon sequence, and listen to voiced lines. You can also see their battle animations. A neat little feature.

Also Hero Merit now maxes out at 3000. That's 1000 more feathers.

They also mention improvements to Training Tower and XP/SP boosts in the arena.

6th Month Anniversary Celebration!

August 2nd makes 6 months since the release of this game!

We will, of course, get a log in bonus. Two orbs a day.

August 7th - August 22nd as well as August 22 - Sept 11

This gives us a total of 40 orbs. Of course the time frame is larger than 10 days. So I don't know if it maxes out at 20 orbs per window, or if these are bonus orbs on top of regular daily bonuses.

Starter Support Event

Starter Support: Hero Fest

For helping out new summoners. The focus rate starts at 5%. No info on what heroes are going to be featured, but this banner starts on August 10th!

There's also going to be a starter support login bonus. Apparently this adds up to an additional 20 orbs. So combine that with the daily orbs mentioned above gives us 60 orbs.

So um, if anyone wanted to try out this game or reroll? That would be a very good time to do that.


Appearance Rate Change

Starting August 7th, 3* and 4* heroes will have their appearance rate swapped. This means you'll have a 36% to pull a 3* and a 58% chance to pull a 4*. This might be a permanent change. They don't mention a limited time frame.


Oh I think everyone is going to love this one.

Free First Summon

The summoning events starting August 7th, your first summon for every focus will be free.They also didn't mention a limited time frame for this so... we might literally get a free summon for every banner from that point forward!

If the above two are temporary, they would still be fantastic. If they're permanent, then truly we are blessed!

Well, defintitely won't be summoning again before August 7th now (thought about making one last pull for Delthea, but might not have pulled the trigger anyway). Wish I could trade back the 5* Cain and Minerva I got from looking for Delthea for the 120ish orbs I spent.

At least I ended up with Sonya off the othe other banner who'll be a bonus unit for the next TT. Bad news is she already has more SP than she'll ever need and is close to max HM as it is.

I feel like every time I seriously contemplate quitting this game, something comes out that ropes me back in, so this update will likely keep me in it for another month or two.

Yeah I was considering making a last ditch effort(Well I didn't try very hard) getting Delthea. But then a certain cinnamon roll was announced for the next banner and well.

I pulled colorless for her. You think I'm not pulling green?

But yeah, August 7th. I... may make a token attempt before then but the rest of my orbs are being saved up until after.

I guess I don't know how they're handling the free summoning thing, though I imagine it's still safe to summon on new banners before that, but I'd rather get the the higher 4* percentage on summons at least, and unless I'm missing something, there won't be any benefit to summoning before then.

Hero Fest, I'm not sure about. I'll probably want to go for Corrin as well on the Summer banner, and I'll want to try for Celica on a TT banner. Might spend some orbs for Ninian. Already have 2 Ikes, and don't really need Julia now that I have Sonya, and don't particulary want Genny. Not sure what I'll end up doing there.

Wow, thanks for all the new info, DYL! They finally implemented something to help make TT a little less grindy and summoning less risky. I'm saving my orbs for Hero Fest probably, unless one of the Summer units turns out really good. I definitely want Ike, but I've also been wanting Ninian as another dancer so it's not that easy picking between them.

On another note, I'm having quite a lot of trouble in tier 18. I use a bonus unit for my 4th slot instead of a Dancer, so if I got Ninian, it would be helpful for this since I have Corrin for buffing, debuffing, and red hate. I ran into a team with a +6 Reinhardt and base 56 Atk..... Needless to say, that was auto-forfeit.

I also ran into a Life and Death Firesweep Lance Cordelia with 59 Atk and 40 Spd. She didn't get to touch me before Hector OHKO'd her with Bonfire, but that was definitely scary to see and also a genius setup.

Summer corrin is really tempting. I wish we could get flying mage to join the summoning pool permanently. Xander's c skill is also very good. Think I'll try for Corrin.

Not sure if I value any hero fest character over her. I have Soren and Sonya so Julia is nice but not necessary. I could try to replace minus attack Ike, but that hardly seems worth it. And Ninian would be second dancer after Azura.

I think it is fairly likely we get a flying banner to replace the cavalry one, and I'd want to go in for Hinoka or Minerva. So hero fest is probably a pass

Ah, yeah, that makes sense. I had forgotten about the voting gauntlet.

Went ahead and spent around 60 orbs and ended up with a +Def, - Res Summer Corrin, and then spent the extra 11 to pull the remaining 3 reds and got another Saber. Certainly could have done worse.

...Wow. Ramping up the fanservice again.

I was weak and burnt 250 orbs trying to get Corrin. Now I'm broke, and still don't have Corrin.

Effie + Spd - Atk
4* Cordelia - HP + Spd
Some decent fodder like Clair and Roderick

Pretty disappointing overall. I only pulled green when blue was missing, and pulled red when both blue and green were missing. Ryoma gets merged into my + Spd Ryoma, and Effie probably merges into my + Atk one.

I now have everything I need to make Firesweep Cordelia, and will probably make this my next project.

that's crazy that you pulled all 3 of the others, including 2 Xanders, despite ONLY pulling those colors when blue didn't show up at all. and still didn't get Corrin herself. feels bad man.

i actually had that happen with the summon simulator going for Sonya. but that only had 2 other focus units and i didn't get any dupes. and of course in reality i got her with only around 110 orbs spent and got no other 5*.

oh man with those 5 orbs i might be able to hit 20 again by the time voting gauntlet starts

have 2 now with today's login, 1 more when i finish the daily quest today, 6 from the next 3 logins, 4 from July quests i haven't finished, 2 from paralogues. that's 15, though i don't know when we're getting those 5 orbs.

so like maybe a 1/6 chance at getting a bonus unit before i have to choose a side. or i guess there's also chain challenge but those seem kinda scary and i'm still working on Lloyd infernal.

Lloyd infernal is pretty easy. If the bow cavalry is a problem, you don't really have to expose a character on the first turn. You can kill the axe infantry with a ranged character, draw it back, dance, and draw it back again to safety. Then the enemy comes to you and the fight is a lot easier.

i've done that and it hasn't helped. Linde isn't strong enough to kill the lance if it has fortify cavalry. if i take Hector instead of Linde, he dies from the mage+lance+bow. i need Tharja+Eirika+Ninian to be able to beat the axe so that only leaves one slot.

Finally! How many orbs did you use?

Also, it's not clear to me from what DYL posted how the free summoning is going to play out. It should be one of the following scenarios, with the first one much more likely.

a) Your very first summon on the banner is free, which saves you 5 orbs
b) Your first summon every time you summon from the banner is free

1 orb per banner is more likely. It would be amazing if they gave us a free full pull once, but even just saving 5 orbs is nice.


(Especially considering I can't seem to get more than one blasted green orb at a time right now....)

It was probably around 270 orbs all told. Time to stockpile again. Got some pretty good skill inheritance fodder. Just need some Hinatas. Ryoma and Corrin want some fury

i've had 5 total i think. red is probably my weakest color now with the surge of recent greens i've gotten, but at the same time, there's not a lot of useful red units. i spent every last orb on hero fest 1 and didn't get Ryoma, and other than that, the only useful one would be Celica, or maybe YTiki. red is now the only color with no flying mage and it may as well not have a cavalry mage either. has only one usable flying sword, too.

I've only pulled two Hinatas, and I'm only willing to sac one which means I may as well be willing to sac none because I'm afraid of not having Fury 3 if I pull someone who I'll both use a lot and who really wants it.

I drew Y Tiki on my reroll and was a reason why I kept it. But I never use her anymore. I have Eirika, Tharja, Ryoma, Athena, Ike, Karel, Luke, Katarina, Saber, Marth and now Summer Leo. My Leo, Katarina, Marth, and Ike have crappy natures.

Doesn't give me much reason to pull red unless we get a good red flier or cavalry mage honestly.

I held onto my last Hinata until I got a character that really wanted it...that was Camus ages ago

Okay, so once a character is 5* and level 40, what other ways are there to make them stronger? I'm a very casual player, and I'm very much struggling with a lot of the Lunatic battles, lately.

Yeah Lunatic can be rough.

There's skill inheritance, that sacrifices a unit to give some of their skills(up to 3) to a unit.
There's also buffing(Usually the C skill) that can give you the edge you need.

What's giving you the most trouble in Lunatic missions?

And is it Training Tower or Story Mission or something else?

The story stuff, mostly. Like, the original stuff was fine, but the newer story missions/the paralogues/etc. My characters just seem... Underpowered. Like, sometimes they'll just fail to take out something they should be good against, but then get one-shot by something of the same color.

Oh yeah. The later stuff is pretty tough. Keep in mind that Chapter 1-9ish were pretty early in the game, before skill inheritance was a thing. So naturally the enemies were a bit simpler. Later chapters were introduced after skill inheritance, so the enemies are scaled up a bit to compensate.

You may need to give them some skills if they're coming up short. And of course sometimes it's simply a case of not having the right team for the job. If you only have four strong units then that's going to be pretty inflexible, especially when they're up against things they're weak against.


(Also do you know the IVs of any of your units. Naga forbid someone's secretly -Att)
