There's a +10 Hawkeye with Melon Crusher, Close Def, and Infantry Pulse. Also noticed a + 10 Ryoma with Wo Dao.

Nope. Xander blocked me. Something I was afraid of, Green has a lot of undesirable 5* greens that can get in the way of a green you want. I suppose it's better than something like a fucking Merric.



Also I believe the Heroes Fest banner is out tomorrow? Hope I get Elise in time to pull on that. I haven't card pulled on red in ages.

Xander is at least useful thanks to Infantry pulse. I wouldn't be happy with Merric either, but I think he's gotten a little more valuable with arena assault. You can just choose to bring him in against a flier team. I think Boey would be the worst to get.

Yeah, hero fest is tomorrow. I'm a little tempted to go for Ninian, but I don't have many orbs left, and a Sacred Stones banner is likely on the horizon. And I want to have something in reserve in case Hinoka makes a return on banner.

I have a 4* Merric that i've neglected for the longest time since there was no reason for me to ever use him because i have Nino and his nature isn't great from what I remember, but it's time to dust him off.

It's also more valuable than ever to have a second unique dancer.

Nice! I just tried again, but had one death to a horse team. I forgot I had items. That panic charm might have come in handy there. 4742. A little worse than last time.

I don't think a 4* Merric is worth much. He can fulfill an anti-flier role with his 5* tome at least.

A second dancer is valuable. Any unit type really. I'm liking how arena assault is getting me to mix and match units that rarely get to shine.

Of course that would be a 5* weapon. Why did I think it was available at 4*...? He's at least +Atk, so that's worth something, but since his Atk is still crap and I actually a good group of greens to use, he is back into the "neglect" pile. I will train my 4* Raven, though. I feel so dumb for training the first one I got without realizing he was -Atk!

Got my first 7-streak victory at Arena Assault. Did abysmally since I put a low-level healer in my starting team. Guess I should step it up a little lol. I saw a Hector with Moonbow, which made me go O_O because I've never seen that before.

These items are pretty OP. I would imagine Elixir is the hardest to get, and aside from Pressure Charm and Dancer's Veil, all the items are really good.

Started this game when it first came out but sat it aside until I could get Ike. Just got him on this banner. My team (based on a tier list I found) is Ike/Lucina/Julia/Reinhardt.

I actually did a full 5 draw off the freebie on the Hero Fest banner. Got Ninian that's kinda cool. Might draw a few more times to get another Wrathful Staff or Ike though.

My free unit was 4* Hinata (yay Fury 3!) and I pulled the rest to get mostly garbage plus a 3* Subaki for inheritance.

Thinking I may spend 20 more orbs on the Hero Fest, and then sink the rest into going for Celica/Delthea. I have had really bad luck with these Hero Fests so far, so maybe it's best I stop pulling on it.

Having an extra green mage or dancer for Arena Assault would be nice though...

I wanted to draw red for Ikes to merge, but ended up with 3 greens, a blue and a colorless. With 8 orbs, I grabbed the greens to try and get another Julia.

Got 3* Subaki, and then guess who my next summon was? Ninian!! Neutral nature, but at least it's not a debilitating one. This is a different kind of insane luck from the previous Hero Fest :)

Started pulling on TT banner and got my fourth Effie. It's been a good day. This was worth losing sleep over lol.

Got my 4* Bartre with my free pull....but I decided to go all the way and ended up with a 4* Eirika, 4* Kagero, and 4* Lucius as new characters. No 5*s but not bad.

Jagen is my new Shanna: too many copies I don't know what to do with. At this point, i plan on using some dupes to buff my side characters rather than continuing to pay to upgrade my barracks because all these dupes are clogging up too much space and the amount of orbs i've spent almost equates to a summon. Less units can use Desperation, but Shanna can pass Threaten Spd 1, which is better than nothing.

It's a shame Heroes Fest only lasts 7 days. Knowing my luck, I don't see myself getting too much out of it.

But at least we get 4 orbs a day for a while! <3

You can sacrifice Jagen to put Fortify Cavalry onto whichever ones you use. Getting rid of Shanna for threaten speed seems like a waste as she is the only cheap source of desperation. There's gotta be something else to trim on

If they are 4*s, I hear that 4*+10 is just as good, if not better than making them 5*s.

If you pass down a 5* weapon, a 4*+10 is roughly as strong as a 5*+5. It's not as easy as it sounds to end up with 11 copies of a single character but it usually a lot more doable than 6 5* copies of a character.

Or Fury 2 if a character needs the extra push. I already passed Fortify Cavalry to Priscilla. I was debating between that or Hone Cav for her. I also have a bunch of Florina's and while she has great skills to pass, I don't have anyone who really needs them, so there's a bottleneck that's been created.

On another note, can someone confirm bringing in higher-leveled units to Arena Assault will result in a higher ranking, just like in regular Arena?

Delthea get. I had great success with summoning yesterday, and I didn't need to spend a crazy amount of orbs yet still have a good number left to go for S. Corrin. Yankees, it took you 240 orbs to get her...?

Wondering what I should do with my spare Nowi. Buff my other Nowi or let Ninian gobble her up for Lightning Breath? Either one requires 20k feathers, which I don't have right now. Actually very feather-strapped!

Closer to 270. It's been my worst luck so far when going for a character, but I got her best nature. So I'm still happy. I've had plenty of times where I got what I wanted in 20 orbs. It's rng.

I wouldn't worry about doing anything with Nowi for a while. Better to work on promoting unique usable 5* characters until you have a solid base for arena assault. But I'd probably give the weapon to Ninian along with triangle adept at some point

Most people here probably do Lunatic 7/7, but for those doing the new normal versions only have to spend 15 Stamina instead of 20 it seems.


Also I seriously need to either switch off Drag Back on Gray or learn to prepare for it >_>

i'll do Lunatic 7/7 at least the first 2 runs per day, but i'll probably use the lower difficulties to train up some units. seems more stamina efficient than the fifth and higher stratums.

How did u go about managing that many summons, specifically fodder? How big is your barracks?

Lunatic 7 was a bit of a ripoff under the old system (Lunatic 5 gave you the same number of points per map and was easier on average, so higher chance you get the full survival/speed ranks) but under the new system which triples points they become a better deal for your first two runs only. The third run... yeah either lower-level for training or Lunatic 5 for max points:time ratio.

Lunatic 5 and 7 cost the same stamina, so if 5 is better for you on average, it's better whether it's tripled or not.

Isn't that the theme on one of the late-game story missions? I wanna say check chapter 7 through 9.

E: I'm not finding it in any of the Story or Event missions, but I know I hear it regularly in-game. Maybe it's on Tempest Trials maps or Arena?

I have 248 characters now. I took some breaks to manage my barracks which forced me to think about skill inheritance for some characters I don't use too much. Which is helpful now with arena assault here.

Are the TT maps harder this time around? I wouldn't be surprised if they are since the bonus characters get such a big boost.

Yeah, it's the other way around. Your bonus characters get a really significant boost, but it's not as though they made the enemies you're fighting more difficult or anything.

Not sure how difficult people are finding Sonya generally at the final map, but I know bringing in my own Sonya with green tomebreaker made the two attempts I did on the 7 maps at the start really easy (Ike, Reinhardt, Azura, and Sonya team).

Also, not that it's useful, but Gray is earning himself a hilarious 24 SP per kill. He's earned at least 2,000 SP for me in TT so far.

I'm running Sonya/Tharja/Azura/Eirika. My Sonya also has green tomebreaker, so I don't have hard time getting either mage to kill her.

i'm using darting blow/desperation with Sonya, along with Eirika buffs, so i don't even need green tomebreaker to double. it's barely enough to kill her even with res ploy though, which only activates because mine is +res. i'm guessing you guys just kept her starting A skill?

I have darting blow and green tomebreaker for now. I'm not convinced I want to give her desperation just for the tempest trials. I gave her iceberg so she can one round it on either phase. Tharja is usually the one to finish her though.
