I'll probably keep darting blow also since it's free. If I had fury to spare, I'd probably do that even though it stacks with cursed lance since he'll typically only have to engage one or two times. Life and death is probably ok. I like speed +3 better than attack +3 if just going that route.

Escape Route is a pretty good idea. Desperation works if you can keep his speed buffed. Renewal if you want to use him in tempest or chain challenges. Quick Riposte would also work well.

Panic ploy is too good to drop unless you really need him to carry a flying buff. I don't think it really conflicts much with Fury since in most applications you'll be panic ploying the greatest threat right away and units tend to separate

I definitely want to replace luna with bonfire

Clarisse doesn't have a brave bow. she can work in lunatic and there is a video using her there, but not so much in infernal. even Innes wouldn't be great in infernal without a brave bow.

Neither do the F2P archers, but I know Games will figure something out without Brave Bow.

Someone kill me. I thought my +Atk Donnel was 3* and proceeded to upgrade him, only realizing AFTER the fact he was 4* and I just lost 20k feathers. It's not the worst thing in the world, but I had several other priorities and now I have to wait again, and I was going to make a super 4* Donnel with all my copies. Sigh.....

It could be worse. You now have a Brave Lance+ to pass on. You can even give it to your future 4*+10 Donnel if you want.

i posted in here as soon as i got it working. downloaded a torrent for bluestacks 2.5 and used that along with bstweaker2 for root. there was some apk as well, supersu, which i'm not sure if it was necessary or not.

So the Infernal video uses Klein... Think that's the first time a non-free unit is used. Shit, what am I supposed to do? I have a 3* -Atk Gordin, but not enough feathers to pass BB+ to Takumi right now. Am I really SOL if I don't have a BB user?

you can pass the regular brave bow at 3*. based on the other video, Takumi should have enough atk as long as he isn't -atk (and you pass Gordin's atk+2 as well).

I can vouch that Regular BB did it for me for my Klein(+Att) and he's 4*. So yeah, if Takumi is at least normal then he should be able to pull through for you. (Though keep in mind Klein has Death Blow 3)

...so i've apparently gotten alergic to orbs. as soon as i get some, i have to get rid of them. worked out really well this time as i got both Delthea and Celica out of only 4 units. i wasn't even going to take any blues but got Delthea when there weren't any reds.

time to spend all day tomorrow grinding them up. i should definitely make top 10k now, maybe top 5k.

But I would really prefer not to sac my only Gordin and not pass BB+ because I've been wanting to build Quadkumi for the longest time, but he really needs Swift Sparrow since he's not +Spd.

This is just terrible map design. The only way IS knows how to make a map "difficult" is by spitting a bunch of reinforcements at you, and ON TOP of that, you need a very SPECIFIC counter. This is setting a bad precedent and I don't like where this is going.

Delthea is neutral, Celica is -atk +res. at least they're not -spd.

there's a chance i could hit top 5k training those 2 now. kinda ran out of steam before and don't exactly care about training guys like Tobin and Summer Xander. though i'm not even top 10k now with 110k points so i might just settle for top 10k.

although now i have no idea what to do for SI. only 1 Shanna left. might have to sac a Navarre for desperation 2. if i do that it'd be to Delthea, so my next Shanna can give her both iceberg and desperation 3. or i could stick with deathblow and give her rtomebreaker or lancebreaker + draconic aura. deathblow guaranteed OHKOs all the DC swords other than a heavily merged Ryoma.

Celica, pretty much desperation or renewal there, though i only have 1 Fae and i really like her stats for a TA/QR build (+def/-spd). and renewal wouldn't go well at all with fury 3, so either fury 2, life & death, darting blow, or leave her with distant defense.

I wouldn't bother with Desperation on Delthea. Lancebreaker and Draconic aura sound good with death blow. She can play support while countering swords and lances. Mine only knows draw back and sword breaker. It's minus attack and I've been lazy with her.

I'd hate to sacrifice my only fae. Any of fury, darting blow, and life and death sound better than distant defense imo

I managed to beat infernal Valter with Leon/Reinhardt/Azura/Olivia. Leon took Klein's brave bow and death blow. Reinhardt needed lance breaker. Azura had wings of mercy, but it was never relevant.

4* level 40. I never had Azura or Olivia enter combat so the stats may only incidentally matter if they impact enemy movement

Looks like choose your legends is on the way next week. I think I'm going to have to pass on it. Sacred stones and Corrin drained my orbs and Valter will be my arena bonus for a couple weeks

Well TT was good to me. I didn't feel like grinding up to 99k, but I got Hardy Bearing and went further after that. My score was at 61k(3k feathers). Really helped me stockpile feathers and orbs. Don't think I've ever had 61k feathers before. I'm pretty sure I'm 5*ing Valter. After that... well that depends on how things go.

Gray, Nino, Reinhardt, Bridal Lyn. They served me well.




The month is almost over, but we still have a fair bit to look forward to.

Tomorrow we're getting Sacred Seals quests. I know I'd like another chance to get Speed+1

And the day after that we're getting daily special maps.

Hopefully the FEH Channel will reveal some of the stuff we're getting September.

i went for top 5k and wasn't able to make it. at least i got Delthea and Celica to 3k SP. and all the orb rewards for once. they made this TT really satisfying to grind. i got like 10 characters to level 50 during it i think, plus all that SP on Sonya, Celica and Delthea. perhaps i should have gotten more SP for Corrin, but i can always do some of that this weekend.

now i'm not sure if i want to 5* Valter, Sharena, Rein, or save. i haven't been using a 5* bonus unit in arena but now it seems like it could be the difference between whether i can make tier 20. i guess technically i could still make it this week if i 5* Alfonse.

I just slipped into the top 5k for 8k feathers. The tempest felt easier to grind this time. Maxed HM on 5 characters. Finished builds of Cherche, Cordelia, and Luke. Almost done with Innes + Leon, and got started with Valter. I'm liking Innes a lot, even at minus attack.

I think you're pretty much guaranteed to move up to 20 with a 5* Valter and perfect run. If you'd ever consider doing it, I think now is the time. I've thought about promoting the starters for the arena, but I don't really like any of them.

well if i use Valter he won't even be useful next season because Olivia is better and i can easily go from 18 to 19 with her (or if i get to 20 this week, would have no hope of staying there even with him). Reinhardt could maybe get me some sorely needed defenses right away, though, or Alfonse could possibly get me to 20 this week.

Wouldn't Valter be there for two weeks though? He could help you get to 19 although he may not be required. And the next week he can get you to 20

I'd pass it along eventually, barrel. But not really required. It's only going to matter for her first combat, but the higher level skill will increase your arena score.

What happens when G Tomebreaker goes up against G Tomebreaker? Is it a wash, or the faster unit gets to activate the skill?

I'm missing an understanding of how the damage calcs work. It happened twice in TT where Reinhardt and Olwen, each with 39 Atk and nothing to boost it attacked my Nino, who had 29 Res +2 from Fortify Res seal boost and KO'd her. 39 * .8 = 31.2, and I thought the number would get rounded down and 0 damage would be dealt, but it looks like it's being rounded up?

Green Tombreakers will cancel out and normal rules apply. If one unit is 5 faster than the other, it will double.

39 - Floor(39 * .2) = 32 attack

Just enough to get though. 7.8 is truncated to 7 and triangle advantage only detracts 7

I see. I have always been multiplying their Atk by .8 for disadvantage and 1.2 for advantage, but what I really should have been using is the formula you provided.

I was just about to pass Renewal onto Valter when I realized both of my 4* Faes are actually pretty good. -Hp +Atk, and -Hp +Spd. I guess I should build one of those.

Fae is a tough one to pin down as far as boon/bane goes. i feel like everything except +HP has potential. -spd +def or atk is probably the best now, but if hone dragons ever comes out +spd might be better instead.

I figure Hp has to be the best bane for her unless you want her to carry infantry pulse. The possibility of hone dragons makes speed sound better to me too. We already have fortify, so it is likely only a matter of time. She's basically a 40k feather project or more considering Lightning Breath+ and her upgrade cost. So, I'm not too keen to build her just yet.

Infernal Valter is so much easier with a brave bow. Good luck

as for Fae -spd, it's to get doubled by more things to charge special easier. which you kinda need with that +1CD from lightning breath. if you get doubled and double back with QR, that can either fully charge iceberg or get 1 off glacies with the intent of baiting again.

We're getting a Choose Your Legends voting gauntlet. The top 4 men and women are going to be featured. This will begin August 31st.

New Heroes: Brave Heroes

Lucina will be a Lance user.

Geirskogul: Grants +3 Def. Grants allies with sword, lance, axe, bow, or dagger within 2 spaces Atk/Spd +3 during combat.

Drive Def 2 Grants allies within 2 spaces Spd +3 during combat.



Roy is a cav Sword user

Blazing Durnadal: Grants Atk+3. If a unit's Atk > Foe's, unit gains Special cooldown charge +1. (If using other similar skill, only highest value applied.)

Galeforce: If this unit initiates an attack, it can take another action after combat.(Once per turn only).


Lyn is a cav Bow user

Mulgair: Effective against flying units. Grants Spd+3. If foe is magic user, foe's bounses(from skills like Fortify, Ralley, etc) are nullified during combat)

Sacare's Blessing: If foe has sword, lance, or axe, foe cannot counterattack. (Skill cannot be inherited)


Ike is a Axe user

Urvan: Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). If unit receives consecutive attacks, damage from second attack onward reduced by 80%.

Beorc's Blessing: Effective against flying and cavalry units. Foe's bonuses (from skills like Fortify, Rally, etc.) are nullified during combat. (Skill cannot be inherited.)

This banner begins August 31st.

There's also going to be something called Quick Hero Battle game on the official website. It's a simplified version of Fire Emblem Heroes. Apparently you can win prizes like orbs or wallpapers.
