Beating Zelda II in one sitting without saving or getting a game over

Halo 3 BTB match on Sandtrap.

My team was getting destroyed. Everyone but me quit, so it was 1v8, and I was down by about 15 kills.



I ended up with over 40 kills and won the game.

Playing Marvel Ultimate Alliance, and leveling up Dr. Strange's box-making ability so much that every time I would hit a dude, they would turn into a box.

Recently, it would be 100%ing Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix in the 1.5+2.5 Collection. Gummi Ship missions took almost the same amount of time as doing everything else.

Master 3 always gets me, and I usually take the short cut/cheap way since I despise the moving blocks part....I only lost a life, but still it doesn't have the same ring to it lol.

dying on master 3 isn't as bad as master 10
master 10 isn't nearly as hard but it's easy to die in

For being such a long-time gamer, I haven't done much that actually stands out. I suppose my top three (and only three) notable things come to mind in this order:

1) Completing the three-day Majora's Mask challenge, aka never playing the Song of Time again after the prologue. There are no glitches, so it requires near perfection to get to Epona in time, but is admittedly easier past that point as long as you've gameplanned appropriately. Still only got it done beating Twinmold during final hours. Fucking intense.

2) Decided to speedrun Bloodborne on a NG++ because I wanted to get the third ending for the platinum trophy in a hurry. Got it in an hour with no glitches.

3) I've played WoW on and off since 2004 but never really seriously raided until the past couple months, during which my guild just got down Heroic Kil'Jaeden for the Ahead of the Curve achievement. Felt good.

Solo clearing the Souls trilogy and Bloodborne is something I'm nerd-proud of too but I'm not exactly alone there.

Getting 1000 gamerscore out of Earth Defense Force 2017 solo. That grind on Inferno, I think I committed 800+ hours before it was all said and done.

Killed them all.

That means I killed their entire team (4 people) three times over in a 4vs1

My entire team had mics and was watching. They were getting hyped lol

Lowest % in LttP. Did you know you do NOT need 1/2 magic or a bottle to defeat Trinexx? You just need frame perfect attacks with the blue Master Sword. Also, the hookshot gives invincibility frames that are useful against Ganon. Surprisingly, the Water Temple was kinda hard, I had to skip it and do other dungeons first.

I would recommend getting the magic powder and 1/2 magic though. I think that would have been more fun. Those Fire Fairies were always right where I needed them... but I couldn't get them.

Ranking 64th on the worldwide leaderboards for Carry On Wayward Son in Guitar Hero.

Completing the first 3 God of War games on the highest difficulty for each. One of them, I think it was GoW2, I beat one of the hardest bosses after about 3 hours of being stuck. I was in college and we were throwing a party that night, but I refused to quit until I beat the boss, so the party started while I was still playing. By the time I finally beat him the entire party was watching and cheering me on (like 60 people by that point). The way everybody went absolutely nuts when I landed the final blow was pretty spectacular. XD

When I was a kid, being drastically under level for Sephiroth in FF7.

Tifa got confused; literally KOd Cloud (who defended Vincent), and herself with the dbl attack materia.

Vincent, in uncontrollable limit break, literally defeated him against all odds with one hp left. I flipped.

Either the time when playing Counter Strike Zombies that I got made the prime zombie and soloed every other player once with one player respawn not being killed by me. Never played like that ever again.

Or when playing MW3 with my buddies. I was using the riot shield and my buddy said to get the final kill with the the riot shield. Just said "Ok" and did it. Everyone went nuts and I got something for final kill cam with a shield. And i'm not good at COD at all.

Beating Breath of Fire 3 on my final real night of summer vacation before starting high school. Beat the final boss with only one hp and no more healing items or any other way to cure myself. I doubt any other gaming moment will ever top that.

Honestly, probably knifing my way through the Mile High Club achievement in CoD4. I tried maybe 200 attempts normally. Every ~50 attempts I'd make it to the hostage and fuck up. Always with 1-2 seconds to spare on the timer, maybe.

One attempt out of frustration, I just sprint along and knife everyone and made it to the hostage with 10 seconds to spare and finished the mission.
