I'm still only halfway in, but as I said that's a companion to the full rewatch of the first 31 seasons I'm doing with my dad. We might be skipping a few shitty seasons during the Dark Ages, though...

Tara is the kind of player that gets fixated on something petty as opposed to winning the game. She's made herself unlikable. I honestly doubt she can win at this point. Her edit has painted her way too negatively to the point she'd be a wildly unpopular winner. I too doubt she'll come around. She'll still find ways to indulge in her usual hypocritical bad attitude.

Michelle was brilliant in how she not only defended herself and explained why it made sense for her to stick with Samatau, but convinced Ben to admit the exact opposite. Being a young twerp, Ben was too naïve to realize that what he was insinuating was that Michelle was right.

The overlapping relationships here are going to make things interesting at the merge, with swing votes like Tara, Michelle, Anneliese, and Peter in play (one of those four might not make it, of course). I too think the bigger threats like Luke, Sarah, and maybe even Michelle might go quick - and they're the more likable ones, too.

I don't care if it's highly-rated. It's also a summer show with little competition. No matter how shitty BB is, it's gonna keep getting greenlit. So I want the producers to get fucked for forcing Paul on us the way they did. I want them to get SOME sort of punishment in the form of him being a footnote on the season (like Paulie was in BB18).

if the ratings are high then i'm not sure how the producers are gonna see pauls outcome, win or lose, as a bad thing. i guess it's a matter of cutting off your nose to spite your face. we love BB, but to get revenge on the producers we're gonna hope for their least desirable outcome, even if it might hurt us (or the show) in the process.

i doubt he'll lose though, they managed to gift rachel a win after all.

i think either way the producers are gonna continue this trend of getting in the shows way to make each season worse than it should be, which is a shame.

Honestly, at this point, this season is going to suck if Paul doesn't win. He's the only one taking the game seriously and any other winner, except Josh or Kevin, would be really, really awful.

If Paul goes out tomorrow night, we have a very interesting endgame, so it's better to lose him now than later. Whether this season gets better or worse depends on who decides to compare notes and what results from them realizing that Paul was playing them all, if they're even smart enough to do that without him there.

No idea which would be more intolerable. But I really feel that Paul is the only deserving winner right now. It sucks.

She's dumb for not recognizing the 2-2 vote split where she was blindsided by Josh/Christmas (and her master).

They took out her #1 and she's all "stay the course, stay the course..." as if the course didn't just get thrown way off track.

Also it's fucking disappointing to see the one outsider who would be evicted if she didn't win HoH/veto actually win HoH and then "stay the course". She has no idea that she was about to go next at the behest of Paul, alongside Josh/Xmas, and instead targets the ineffective Kevin & Raven.
