Rapunzel v. Mike (21-12)

Perhaps it's not the biggest surprise winner (people were calling for Mike to win it since the beginning, and 3/7 predictions reflected that) but a great winner nevertheless, only dominating everyone prior to his last two match-ups.

I like Louise (and everyone on Bob's Burgers really) but she's still the onl,y winner that kind of baffles me. She beat every Game of Thrones character premiering in S1, including Dany, Arya, Tyrion, Drogo, Hodor and The Hound (and that's just who made it in; Jaime, Cersei, Jon, Ned, etc. weren't even contenders). That's the one year where I feel like if it was run again, the results would be drastically different. 2011's finals only had 13 voters as opposed to this year's 33.

It goes by their first appearance in a specific media. Originally comic characters weren't included, but that led to people being upset over things like Gotham characters being excluded (despite the fact that some, Cobblepot especially, were drastically different than their source).

Overall I think this way is kind of better, but it's still flawed. In particular, the rule let in Civil War's Spider-Man, who made it to third, and Deadpool, who won.

Deadpool was a tricky situation, because he did technically appear in the film universe before, but since the 2016 Deadpool film is nothing like Origins Wolverine (and is not the same character in the film universe canon) he Still got in

Even after running all of these there's still no clear right answer to how to handle it imo.

For instance, I think Cobblepot should be included but Spider-Man shouldn't, but there's no fair way to make a rule about that

Winner was B8 Breaking Bad boner bracket with 115 points (I assume that's yours?) followed by my bracket "Johnbobbo" with 112 and "Let the coolest characters win!" with 97
