Good shit. Perhaps slightly overrated just by nature of the "OMG BEST EVER" reviews but still incredibly good as a film and social commentary.

You have to watch it at least twice to catch a lot of the subtle foreshadowing

Like how they keep a piece of grandma in the kitchen

Do you just mean the woman, or did they specifically mention that in another context?

Definitely a bit overrated, but a solid 8/10 movie.

^Lol, that's great.

I did just kinda realize that the gardener sprinting around was the bitter grandpa who came in 2nd at the Olympics...

Also when he tore open the arms of the armchair he was in to clog his ears with the stuffing, he literally had to pick cotton to escape

Yeah there's so many little things you realize after.

Love the movie, but definitely not "omg best ever" like you said.

God, it was good, though. More I think about it, the more I realize. I'm comfortable with 9/10.

They bait you so hard into the black folks acting weird because they're hypnotized, but they're actually all so square because they're literally old white people. It's hilarious and dark and perfect. So much better than them all just being hypnotized, which would've been a bit much (the brain surgery is definitely sci-fi, but hypnoslavery would've been borderline magic/fantasy).

Logan (the dapper black dude) does a little spin and some people clap like it's for his outfit, but he's actually like "hey guys, check out my new body!!!" as the newest guy on the block. Holy shit.

You know, it's kind of sad but he never gets the chance to save Logan. He's still stuck as a prisoner in his own body

Even the bit with the cop works on a couple of levels. It of course builds up Rose as a trusting character, but later you also realize she was so adamant about the cop not getting the ID so that there's no record of Chris ever being there.

Also the sight gag of her drinking milk through a black straw was funny. I love how the movie kind of felt like a K&P sketch taken to the extreme
