OK, so here's the idea I guess


Hercules (Disney's Hercules)
Heroic Male Otherworldly
6/Week

Hercules is as seen in the movie Disney's Hercules, in his adult demi-god form.

I Will Go The Distance (Passive) - Hercules is immune from effects from any abilities that would stall or prevent him from arriving to battle at the start of a match.

Zero To Hero (Peacetime) - Once every 4 weeks, Hercules can train an ally to be a hero. Their alignment will change to Heroic for the week and in battle their only concern will be victory. They will also be immune to single-target abilities from villainous mercs this week.


UPGRADES:

Character Upgrade : Hercules can choose to ride into battle with Pegasus.

New Ability:
Twelve Labors (Start of Battle) - Once every 5 weeks, Hercules can gain two extra lives. If Hercules dies in battle one, he will get back up after a few seconds. After his second death, Hercules will get back up for 15 seconds with his godhood invincibility before finally staying down for good afterwards.

Terrain :

Phil's Island - The training ground where Hercules learned how to be a hero.

The Maxx
Heroic Male Otherworldly
4/week

The Maxx is as seen in his TV series. He is permanently in the real world unless otherwise specified.

Abilities

The Outback - This iteration of Dave is fortunate enough that his problem of drifting off to the dream world isn't a problem. Every three weeks though he may pre-select one opposing Villainous merc. Upon first meeting Maxx in battle, both Maxx and that merc will shift to Pangea as seen in the series, complete with an assortment of white Isz and sabretooth tigers. Only Maxx and the merc will make the trip, which will last until one of them dies or until a minute elapses, whichever comes first. At that point whoever is left will return to the real world in the same position as when they left.

Upgrades

New Ability

"You killed my hostage. YOU KILLED MY HOSTAGE!" (Start of Battle) - Every four weeks, Maxx may put his incredible hostage negotiation skills to use. One randomly selected Villainous merc will begin the day's fight by grabbing the lowest rostered upkeep merc on their team and holding them in front as a shield. They will prioritize their own life above the hostage and will have no compunctions about their death, but Maxx and the other team are free to attack as they see fit.

Terrain

The City - A rundown hellhole slum. At least it's clear of Izses. All areas may be accessed.

Harold Hill is as seen in the beginning of The Music Man, with his traveler's suit and a suitcase bearing the name 'Professor Harold Hill'.

Ya Got Trouble - Once a week, Harold Hill can pacify enemies within hearing distance by singing about the trouble they got. The duration is 30 seconds per enemy affected. Hill himself will also be locked into singing for the same direction. This effect will take priority over other singing abilities.

Never Heard of A Salesman Named Hill (start of battle) - Every three weeks, the enemy will not see Hill as a threat and will not directly attack or otherwise harm him for thirty minutes from the start of the battle. This ability can be negated by passive or active investigative abilities.

Upgrades:
New Ability:
Shipoopi - Every other week, preselect a female enemy merc as the designated 'Shipoopi'. She won't cooperate with the rest of the team.

New Ability:
76 Trombones - Can be used once every other week. All mercenaries as well as any NPCs if present will join Hill in a big band parade for the duration of the finale song (4 minutes and 6 seconds). Only Hill will retain full consciousness and he can choose the route the parade will take.

Terrain: River City - The town Harold Hill arrived in as seen in The Music Man. Everyone is present and will try to sing Iowa Stubborn to any stranger.

That looks really cool, but I think there is a mix-up with some of the terminology

Pure Support typically means that they don't physically appear in the match and their abilities all apply to their assigned merc

Since all those abilities affect Hill in the match, he wouldn't be pure support.

OR if you did want him to be pure support, it could just be reworded so that they affect his assigned merc

Copycat Killer (Trigger) - Every once in awhile Jason ends up taking a dirt nap and needs a vacation. As such, if Jason is KOed his copycat Roy Burns will immediately take his place in the team lineup. If for whatever reason Roy is KOed, Jason will recover and take Roy's spot, repeat as needed. Damn horror movie sequels!

Roy Burns is as seen in Friday the 13th Part 5, carrying an axe, a machete and a meat cleaver.

Ability Upgrade

If Roy Burns is rostered, he may optionally ditch his Jason costume and arrive disguised as a standard (if somewhat offputting) paramedic. The opposing team will be unaware of his true identity until he begins attacking.

Robocop is as seen in the original movie trilogy carrying his Auto 9 with standard rounds and (Custom), as well as his ever present Data Spike. The Prime Directives will not stop him from battling as he sees fit.

Customization - Each week, Robocop may choose two of the following ammo types for the Auto 9 in addition to his standard rounds.

Armor Piercing
Fletchettes
High Explosive
Non-lethal
Seeker

Part Man, Part Machine (Passive) - Robocop counts as both a Human and a Robot for the purpose of abilities.

Prime Directives (Pre-Battle) - Serve the public trust. Protect the innocent. Uphold the law. Never oppose an OCP officer. Luckily Robocop erased all of this junk when it became annoying, but if facing an opposing Robot, Murphy can pre-select one and scramble their programing with his Data Spike. That merc will consider a random Human merc on Robocop's team as an OCP officer and refuse to take offense against them in the day's fight. They are free to attack anyone else.

This ability may be used once every four weeks.

Upgrades:

Character Upgrade:
Add the Cobra Rifle to Robocop's customs. He may take this in lieu of one of his bullet types.

Ability Upgrade:
Robocop's reprogramming further messes with the opposing Robot. If that Robot uses any abilities after Prime Directive is used, they will be KOed and injured the following week.

Terrain: OCP Headquarters - The office complex of Omni Consumer Products. All areas can be accessed.

Customization - Every other week, Dredd may ride the Lawmaster into battle.

Scowl (Trigger) - Dredd's most fierce weapon isn't his Lawgiver. It isn't his unwavering conviction in the Law. No, Dredd's most terrible weapon is his multi-tiered scowl! On any given week, an enemy team facing Dredd's will have to deal with his Scowl upon using an ability. This has a 10% chance of causing the merc who used it to flee in terror, refusing to use the ability (treat Pre-Battles as snuffing without going on recharge). For each ability used past the first, Dredd will Scowl harder, causing the percentage to go up by 10%. The number will keep going up to 100% depending on how many abilities are used. Dredd will only stop Scowling for the week once he blocks an ability, then it will go on recharge for two weeks.

Upgrades:

Ability Upgrade:
Scowl successfully triggering will not only cause ability failure, but the offending lawbreaker will be so terrified of Dredd's scowling that they will refuse to be rostered at all that week.

Terrain: Peach Trees - The 200 story slum tower and the surrounding block as seen in Dredd. Access to the rest of Mega-City One is barred.

That reminds me I had a similar thought for Jigsaw, some kind of ability that replaces Jon Kramer with Hoffman and makes some of the other abilities more unfair. But the current Jigsaw build is so good I see no reason to mess with it.

Sam and Dean Winchester (Supernatural)
Heroic Male Humans
2/Week

Sam and Dean Winchester are as seen throughout Supernatural, in normal human forms. They come equipped with the Demon-Killing Knife of Kurds, Angel Sword, crossbows, shotguns, pistols and miscellaneous materials for spells and incantations. They will ride into battle in an 1967 Chevrolet Impala.

The Winchesters (Passive) - Sam and Dean count as a single merc for the purposes of abilities.

Carry On My Wayward Son (Passive) - Sam and Dean are no strangers to living through death. They are immune to injuries from any ability.


Master Hunters (Pre-Battle) - The Winchesters are well-versed in tackling any kind of enemy they face. Every week, the brothers can choose to learn about a single enemy mercenary. They will come to the battle with knowledge of their fighting style, abilities, equipment, and weaknesses, with special rounds in their shotguns that would make them extra effective against their target. The knowledge gained from this ability does not carry over to future matches.


Saving People, Hunting Things. The Family Business (Peacetime) - Once every four weeks, Sam and Dean can venture during Peacetime, following their normal routine of going to different locales in search of monsters. They may accept a job from another mercs leader to slay a Beast, Otherworldly, or Undead mercenary on any team besides their own for a price of at least 4 GP (and a maximum of 10). For any target 2/week or lower, there is no challenge and the brothers win with the target KO'd. For any merc 3/week or higher, Sam and Dean must track the monster down. This can be done one of two ways, negotiated between the leaders: a side topic can be created where Sam and Dean fight the monster in its own terrain or Sam and Dean arrive during this week's battle as a third party allied with the team fighting the monster. In either case their only goal is to kill the monster, and the monster (and its team) have no idea Sam and Dean are there. They also gain use of their Master Hunters ability, against their target. If the brothers go into the side topic and win, they will arrive back to their team in time for Wartime. If they lose the side topic, they are KO'd. If Sam and Dean KO the monster, or track the monster down during the monster's match, their owner receives half the fee rounded up.

UPGRADES:

Ability Upgrade:

Sam and Dean can keep the knowledge of any enemy his has learned between fights. They will only come with special rounds for whichever enemy they researched this week.

Ability Upgrade:

Sam and Dean can now outright KO 3/week monsters.

New Ability :

They Say This Gun Can Kill Anything (Peacetime) - Once every 5 weeks, the brothers can bring into battle with them The Colt. The Colt is a special gun with six bullets, and each bullet can kill any being in one shot even if they are supernatural or otherwise immune to weaponry.

Please drop your weapon. You have 20 seconds to comply (Passive) - ED-209 is special in that he's just doing his job. That job is wandering the terrain, helping out his attached merc by informing any enemies he stumbles across that they need to please put down their weapons. ED will function as an assist to the merc in question, not taking up a roster slot if they make it to the fight. However, his only function is to politely disarm any opposing mercs he finds after an audible 20 second countdown (using his chainguns, of course) as he goes on patrol, following no other orders.

One issue I noticed with ED-209: It doesn't really make much sense to have him return to the pool in results, given that he has a character upgrade. If he's lost in results, it's impossible to upgrade him, so that'll need tweaked.

Raimundo Pedrosa (Xiaolin Showdown)

Raimundo Pedrosa is as he appears at the end of Xiaolin Showdown. He is the Xiaolin Dragon of the Wind, and has been fully promoted to the position of Shoku Warrior. He may still perform all Xiaolin Apprentice and Wudia Warrior attacks. He comes to battle equipped with his signature Shen Gong Wu: The Sword of the Storm, the Crest of the Condor, and the Blade of the Nebula.

Abilities

Let's Go! XIAOLIN SHOWDOWN! (Pre-Battle)
- Once every 4 weeks, Raimundo may challenge a pre-selected enemy to a XIAOLIN SHOWDOWN. Raimundo may wager any of his three Shen Gong Wu against a pre-selected weapon from his enemy's write-up or customization. The terrain will be randomized between everyone involved, but the terrain will be warped as it is in the show, with everything breaking apart into three-dimensions and hazards and major aspects of the terrain being emphasized. Raimundo and the enemy will be put into a side-topic and will battle each other in one of the following challenges, chosen randomly. The only weapon they may use is the one they wagered. Whoever wins gets both weapons.
-Basketball. Traditional 1v1 basketball rules. First to 20 points wins.
-Capture the Flag. A flag will be placed on each end of the terrain, and the first to capture their opponent's flag 3 times wins.
-Race. Both mercs will start next to each other. The first to reach the goal a mile away wins.

Upgrades

Ability Upgrade:
Raimundo may upgrade his Xiaolin Showdown to a Shen Yi Bu Dare. Raimundo may bring in an ally and pre-select two enemies, making it a 2v2. Raimundo's owner must choose a weapon from each of the four, all of which will be wagered. The rest of the rules stay the same.

Terrain

Xiaolin Temple - The temple and surrounding training grounds where the Xiaolin Apprentices live and train. No Xiaolin monks are present.

The Chosen One is as seen in Kung Pow! Enter the Fist.

Weeohweeohwee! (Passive) - As long as The Chosen One is alive, everyone in the fight will speak in bad kung-fu movie dubbing. Each team will be able to make out what their own side is saying, but the other team will come across as utter nonsense.

Nuts To Your Fist Style (Pre-Battle) - Every three weeks, a random enemy mercenary will go off with The Chosen One for some training! They will return in time for the week's fight. Unfortunately as a joke, they will find themselves trained from the ground up in the deadly art of trying to soak up as many physical blows as possible. Any attacks on them during the fight will be met with an attempt to tank it, regardless of how bad an idea that might be.

Upgrade

New Ability

A tiny net is a death sentence. It's a net and it's tiny (Start of Battle) - Every week, choose a selected enemy mercenary. That merc will begin the battle with a tiny net thrown over their head. Somehow, someway, the unlucky victim will be tangled and unable to remove this choking net in spite of it only coming to their shoulders, but their allies are free to get it off of them.

Terrain

Master Tang's Dojo - The dojo as seen in Kung Pow, replete with training dummies embedded with small pyramidal spikes.
