Funny, I was just watching First Class last night...

But I dunno...many like to say 'Mentally Ill', but many don't say the same about Gay or Lesbian ppl.

I think it has something to do with 'hormonal showers' many females have during pregnancy phases.

I feel this has always been a thing. The difference now is we live in such a different age people of all walks of life are now out in the open. Not only that, how many people in ancient times were able to actually change their body to a different gender/sex. It was impossible until recently. Human evolution is no longer biological, we are still evolving in social evolution and technological evolution. The body no longer has to change because we change it ourselves. It is like the human race has finally reached it teenage years and doesn't know how to deal with all the changes. As a highly-intelligent advanced race, we will evolve in ways other species won't. You can't really compare us to others. until we find an alien race similar to ours, we are unique on this planet. Heaven for all we know, we could be the first advanced race. Maybe we will be the alien invaders in movies, the ones that hand down technology to other races. Only time will tell though, maybe we won't find anything else for hundreds of years.

They aren't ailed by it so they're not actually ill. A gay person just does things differently like having a different favourite colour, a transgender person feels bad about their own body like an anorexic person (who is also mentally ill).

Again, not how evolution works. Otherwise we STILL don't have the capacity to change a person's body to the other sex and cross-dressing has always been an option anyway.

Bringing to mind the old adage, "I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy it." In reality, mental illness doesn't require that it "ail" a person; a lot of manic depressives actually enjoy their condition, but that doesn't mean it's not an illness.

A manic depressive person who gets fired because they're unreliable is ailed by it, even if they're so manic they don't give a fuck.
