I know no one really cares and that I'm a week late with this but for those waiting for Dynasty Warriors 9 or Fire Emblem Warriors, here's something to tide over that Warriors itch.

Yep, I've dicked around with it a bit. Seems pretty fun, but I've only got ~20 minutes in it with Oka.

The furries and slime baddies are weirdly more off putting than they should be lol

It sort of just seems out of place in a Warriors game and it really does feel like WO-lite.

Still, I'm looking to get my enjoyment out of it. I really want to play Arnice and get a preemptive taste of DW9 with Zhou Cang.

yeah i have it on the ps4 it's disappointing game

arnice was my first character side pick and i still use her yet she's not that fun so i may change to a different main (currently playing this and when I'm not it's Pillars of Eternity Complete Edition ps4)

You should! If you play on PC, I recommend DW8. It takes some fiddling with the controls, but it's worth it. However, if you've got one of the newer consoles, I can't recommend WO3U enough. If you haven't played the first two games you'll be a little lost at first, but the plot's more than simple enough to understand even for newcomers.

For newcomers, I think it's also worth checking out the older two WO games. The mainline DW series from around that time may have aged a bit too much for most new players, but the WO series is still anime and silly enough for anyone to enjoy, so long as they don't ust outright dislike the genre.

The PS2 SW games are still held in high regard as far as I know.

There's also the spinoff series that are worth checking out, but I think a lot of them are a poor representation of the series. PW3 gets a hell of a lot of praise, but I personally found it a bit watered down.

Not gonna lie, I'm quite terrible at Beat-em-Ups XD That's why I tend to not play them...

Warriors games are EASY. It's one of the main critiques.

You're not looking at Fighting game style inputs or DMC-type attack strings.

And the AI has been watered down from previous games.

The games are mostly just fanservice now.

Plus, there's plenty of waifus!

I'm actually not sure what that game is, because Naotora isn't in WO3U.

But Ayana, Kasumi, and a few other guest characters are. If you want, I can spoil them for you. But I think it's best left to your own surprise.
