If they exist, you'd really need to live around in certain regions to find them. However, I half-suspect that it's just a parody rather than the truth since you're more likely to find Christians who believe that dinos went extinct with the flood from Noah's Ark or that they're still out there as cryptids.

i've seen people on facebook say it, but never met on in real life. well to be more accurate saw a woman claiming that fossils where just molds made by man to push their science agenda.

I have extended family members who believe that. I just went to my grandmother's funeral earlier this week and the amount of dodging I had to do to get away from Trump conversations put Neo in the Matrix to shame.

I should mention that I have heard it in person, too. When I was a lad I was way into dinosaurs and paleontology and heard an aunt bitch out my mom for letting me be interested in one of Satan's ruses.

That's... a good solution. I'll have to use this. Because yes, I know people like this. My immediate family mostly believe that dinosaurs died in the Noah flood, which is stupid, but nearly as much so.

How is there a devil to put stuff into the ground if you don't have faith? If you don't believe in god then you don't believe in a devil to put something in the ground to test your faith.

God has always been lying to us. In the same way parents lie about where babies come from. Three year olds don't need to know the truth yet and aren't ready for it yet. Thousands of years ago humans would have needed something simple because they would never believe the truth. Even now some humans won't believe the truth or understand how to reconcile that with what God has said in the distant past, because God had to say it that way, because we weren't ready for the kind of truth that could be accepted.

Being able to create doesn't automatically make something as powerful as god, though. That's kind of a shit argument.
