I know a booru site where they tried asking multiple times before this stuff, and I got viruses from their advertising twice. They deleted my messages pointing that out when I said that is the reason they will not get another chance. Now the site is ****ing broken with how they work, can't favourite, comment or vote at all, will only load image samples, etc. Even worse on my phone running Opera Mini, it won't load images at all unless I disable the ad block feature it has --- I'm not lazy, I just don't care http://backloggery.com/DeltaBladeXNZ ... I find NoScript works better than actual adblock... especially since the problem with ads isn't commercialism, but how they hijack your page.

You don't need NoScript. Actually I don't think I've used it in 10 years.
The Addon by definition breaks 90% of sites on the internet due to how integrated JavaScript is in every single site. I've just been using plain Adblock since it's leagues better than Plus. This sounds almost ironic, but keep in mind that plain and Plus are from different developers, and plain lets you opt out with ease from allowing advertisers to seep through... since plain wasn't bought out like Plus was.

Noscript also totally breaks 80% of the Internet I allow all scripts by default and manually toggle the block for malicious ones as they affect me. It's just nice to have a button at the top that lets me selectively block scripts. I don't micromanage it, or even touch it more than once a month. But yeah I should switch away from AdBlock. I use NoScript because I do like personally white listing things. I also use uBlock Origin and Privacy Badger. All of these work on Firefox mobile too, so they're on my phone as well as my desktop.

There's a way to beat those adblock blockers but frankly I find more enjoyment out of simply refusing those sites business.
I have seen enough shitty ads overrun my phone to know that I don't have any reason to believe the people who run websites actually have any idea of the kind of schlock they allow to be advertised on their site and the methods used to deliver those ads to the viewer.
