It is the same thing. The original tweet was just pointing out that both groups organized a march on the same day in the same area.

Graham-Cassidy update:

McCain appears to be "reluctantly" on board because his governor supports it (despite the fact that there will obviously be no time for regular order). Rand Paul is quite loudly trashing the bill so there may still be three votes to kill it, but I'm never comfortable counting on Rand Paul as my savior.

I just literally never took Spicer seriously, I don't mind "normalizing" someone who's existence is just as a mouthpiece. Spicer's just an entirely insignificant being to the "Trump administration", he never steered anything on the policies, he's basically a messenger. Meanwhile his presence to me, in context with Colbert's whole intro blasting Trump, Spicer's appearance if anything would get under Trump's skin more.

If this were Bannon or someone that actually meant something I could understand, but Spicer's nothing.

There is still the additional chance that it fails in the House due to the fact that it absolutely guts funding from many states (such as CA, NY, etc). It would be very bad for a vulnerable member in a state losing a ton of funding to vote for this piece of shit.

Then again, I doubt most of them have the courage to oppose it even when it's in their own best interest if they'd have to share the title of "person who let Obamacare live"

Speaking of which, one of the GOP's ideas for "tax reform" is apparently getting rid of the deduction for state/local income tax (which would again really fuck over people in most blue states). Similar incentives will be in play there for blue state GOP Reps.

Republican politicians have duped their base into thinking Obamacare is bad for them and have been winning elections since 2010 based solely on a promise to repeal it. Now they're in a weird place where actually following through on the promise will probably hurt a good number of their constituents, but not following through results in them losing a primary challenge to someone who will.

Also yeah, scary black man.

Yep.

I'm pretty confident that most Americans who want it repealed just know that they aren't satisfied with their current healthcare situation (either they're paying more than they want to be or their coverage isn't good enough or don't want insurance that they're forced to buy due to the individual mandate); besides the last group these people wouldn't really have a problem with Obamacare specifically and just want "better healthcare."

The GOP has been lying for seven years about having a better solution when most of them opposed it either a) because they don't believe the federal government should be in the business of providing people with health insurance or b) because it was good politics to oppose Obama. Now their political incentive is to repeal Obamacare even though they don't actually have a viable solution and don't even agree on which direction to go (which is why they've been coming up with all of these different but shitty plans).
