Do you think if he had the opportunity today to have Trump on but only to play nice with him, Fallon would do it?

Trump was pretty despicable, even before we learned of all the things he did during the election. Trump University anyone? His abuse of bankruptcy rules. I mean yeah, most people probably would think he'd decry literal Nazis and White Supremacists (except David Duke.. which he didn't) but he was pretty despicable even outside of the things we learned during the election. He didn't suddenly become despicable when he decided to run for president. He was despicable long before that.

I personally thought the outrage over Fallon was dumb because the dude did what he always does and what should have been expected of him, yet people freaked out because he didn't grill Trump, as if there was any reason to believe he would.

"Aha! Trump was right, Obama was wiretapping him."

Like...rewind for a minute; why was wiretapping even potentially a scandal? Cause you can't wiretap without a warrant, that would be illegal. But there was a warrant. So this wiretapping was legal.

In order for there to be a scandal here, the FBI would have to wiretap someone else (like Trump) for whom they did not have a warrant. If something like that happened, yeah, that's illegal and would be a scandal.

Yeah, there are differences between the kinds of affiliations with Donald. I'm looking at Spicer less like Mattis and more like Conway -- actively lying and creating propaganda despite the harm it caused. Spicer quit because he didn't want to work with the Mooch, not because of his own responsibility with problems within the Trump Administration.

It's a shame because Spicer seemed on-point a little before he took that job, but it rightfully destroyed his credibility. If people decide to help him out of that hole he dug for himself, okay, but that's their choice to care and not anything he's owed or particularly deserving...and I'm liable to judge those who helped him out nationally two months after the fact.

North Korea is fenced in, unlike Germany. It only borders South Korea, China, and Russia, none of which it can attack without causing a war that ends with the end of North Korea as a country. There's no Austria or Czechoslovakia or Poland analog here.

Also, the United States was firmly standing on not intervening in the 30s and Germany had already demonstrated once that it was militarily superior to Britain and France together, in WWI, in Spring 1918. This was demostrated again in 1940. By contrast, it's very clear right now who would win a US/NK war.
