I'm not sure how I'm going to go about this. I've taken the 29th off, but nobody has told anybody how many units they're going to have so I don't know which store's line to stand in.

because it's more fun this way

the fact that the NES was even able to be modded and was amazing and now I have a tiny NES that uses NES controllers to play all the NES games

I look forward to doing the same with the SNES

The cords are still tiny though only like three and a half feet long I think I had to buy an extender for mine

Granted that's still probably better than being attached like the famicom was

Also I'm assuming these extenders for the nes will also work on the Super Nintendo

When I ordered mine they accidentally sent me two so I'm just going to use that second one for the Super Nintendo

It's because that's how it was on the real Famicom too, two hardwired controllers. That's why they're so small too, because they fit on the Famicom, and if the new Famicom is tiny then the controllers have to be tiny too in order to fit on the sides. And you get a microphone on the second controller

still not worth it lol

I mean I guess it was worth it to play through Final Fantasy 3 again

I really do wonder if they're going to do an N64 Classic next. Sure, it's next in line, but there's such a huge volume of SNES titles they could milk for the next several years.

I would love to see another SNES Classic with 20 other games....but I doubt they'll do it. The overall quality of the games wouldn't be anywhere close to the SNES Classic. How about releasing more games on it as an "add-on"?

I wonder how that person who wrote the article on cnet got the console a week early

can't say I see the need for the n64 classic. and i'm sure they have the seeds for more games on an snes cartridge developing for future planting

and they're re-release the nes classic next year, hopefully with more games added

I've heard that the Terranigma emulations had some trouble with transparencies, which made one of the levels nearly impossible. I've got a Terranigma cartridge that I've never been able to play because of some sort of restrictions that even adapters weren't enough to get past. I wonder if whatever's on this box would be able to run it without any problems?

Right highway, wrong direction. Though that one might actually be closer I guess.

Either way, I'm not going to try to go to either one during rush hour, and they're too far away to hit up during lunch. I'll probably try the local Wal-Mart or Target on lunch.

You can buy cases that look like a tiny nes.

this is an odd question. But does anyone know the file type(format?) that SNES roms should be?

I want to start getting my SNES roms I want to hack into the classic ready now (long story, have time to kill tonight) but want to make sure I am downloading the correct file formats. I noticed sometimes different roms have different formats.

Note that I am in america if that makes any difference on file type

Thanks
