I was all ready for TT today, only to realize it doesn't start until tomorrow. Gives me a little less of a rush to train up Elincia.

Man, I don't like her voice, and it certainly doesn't match her portrait, which is inaccurate to begin with. They need to fire all the artists that can't stay true to the originals.

i'm pretty sure they knew exactly what they were getting from Elincia's artist and that's what they wanted. they'd have been silly to hire that guy and expect something similar to Kita Senri's Elincia.

Did 2 pulls on the Effie banner, second one had 4 blues, got my Effie. Now when I get the Black Knight I can have a Hector/Effie/BK Armor core.

It's funny that I actually mostly skipped the first two days of TT. Well I got 3/4 bonus runs from those two days at least. Just a little distracted because of some other games I suppose.

The seals quests are pretty meh, but I think I was only missing the Speed 1 seal anyway(got that from the last repeat). The Panic Ploy seal from TT is pretty neat though. Not totally sure who I'm going to put that on though when the time comes.

I can't decide if I should spend all my orbs trying to get Nephenee or save them for the inevitable new brokenness in the FE4 banner.

Wait till the next banner is announced at least. Nephenee isn't a game breaking character, but if you like her, go for it.

I'm quite happy having Nephenee for the tempest trials

She can basically solo max difficulty as long as I show some caution with spellcasters. First one of these I can reliably get max score on.

This is actually the first one I have some slight trouble getting max score on because Reinhardt can't actually one-shot Black Knight unless he has a Hone or multiple Goad buffs.

But yeah, Nephenee, Elincia, Nino, and Azura are doing just fine. Only thing I need to worry about is keeping Nephenee at least half health to whittle the Black Knight down into one-shot range for Nino.

I let Reinhardt and Lyn do the heavy lifting. It moves faster that way. Elincia is there for bonus and Brave Ike as a green low on hm. I thought it would hurt my speed score by not using a dancer, but it is easy to get a top rank with them

STILL can't get into tier 19. Maybe if Valter were 5* and fully decked out it could have happened.

Still not as obnoxious as AA, which is literally "pay to get into the high tiers." I raged trying to get a good rank last night and couldn't stop myself from making dumb mistakes.

I'd be very impressed with anyone who got into Tier 19 with a 4* on their team. You're handicapping yourself pretty badly that way.

I'm about to move up to Tier 19. Managed a no-death run (which essentially means I spammed arena dueling swords until I fought a set of teams without Reinhardt/BowLyn/Hone Cavalry/Hone Cavalry/arena map where you can't fucking move and cavalry run you down like the dogs you are).

I use Ike/Bike/Donnel/Felicia. I've started merging Felicia with other 5* Felicias in preparation for the buffed-out-their-ass Reinhardts I'm sure to encounter. Otherwise I'm mergeless.

i was alternating between 18 and 19 every time with a 4* bonus until i finally got to 20 with a 5*. Hector is worth a lot of points and he makes it a lot easier. especially with Linde healing him. and then Linde can kill any not-green in the game, plus a lot of greens (though Hector is the only one i see much in arena)

I love fighting Hector. And any armor knight. Their 1 movement speed makes them borderline useless in most situations.

The only real difficulty with Hector is having someone on your team that can straight up stuff him and fighting the other 3 guys in a way such that you don't compromise that someone. Generally I'd rather face a Hector than not though.

My TT starting team is Marth/Brave Ike/Brave Lucina/Elincia. I think I've gotten real lucky once and made it through without going to team 2, but usually I have to so I save Reinhardt for that.

i like that literally all 3 of my not bonus members could kill enemy Hectors. though he still ended runs occasionally with pivot + dancer, or WoM.

I'm finding Hector to be not-so-useful if the opposing team doesn't have good bait for him. He could bait BowLyn if it came down to it, but she would need to not be moved around and not Def-buffed if he doesn't have Bonfire charged.

Do you guys think it's worth it to merge BK so he hits 41 Spd with Hone Armor? Or can i make better use of the spare by giving Ninian WoM3?

i mean in my case, if there is ever no good bait for Hector that means the entire enemy team is red and Linde will destroy them.

Yeah one of the main issues I had getting into tier 19 was having to drag a 4* along for the ride half the time.

BK will gain an HP and Atk point on a merge, not Spd. I think I'd hold out for Cain for WoM. BK offers steady stance 3 which unique at this point.

When i merged my Ryoma long ago, he gained Spd and HP, and i have noticed for 4*, it's Atk and HP. Was it changed all around?

I always thought the gained stats were random on the first, with further merges leveling out till you get a consistent bonus on all the stats.

Merged stats are awarded to the units two highest stats at level one. It will always be Hp and something else. Second merge picks up third and fourth and so on

yep. so far my only merged units are Linde and Masked Lucina. they both gained HP and spd. if i ever get a +atk Reinhardt, he will get HP and atk from the merge, for 4 more total atk. that's why i decided to promote my neutral atk one. don't really think he's worth merging past +1.

not sure how it handles boon/banes or tied stats, though. like would a +atk -spd Linde gain atk instead? or even +atk neutral spd (cause then they'd be tied at level 1)?

I know that the boon/bane does get accounted for while merging and can change the order the stats are awarded in. I am not sure how it determines it in case of a tie

you joke but there's actually quite a few greens i could make use of. i could never have too many Barsts or Gunters. i still don't have a +spd Cecilia and my only +atk one is -spd. plus Cherche and Nino are characters i will probably +10 eventually and i occasionally need their positioning skills as well. sadly i do seem to pull a lot of Bartres, but at least not many Berukas or Arthurs so it evens out.

i just mean i don't have the orbs to get all the characters i want in such a short time. i mean i'm super unlikely to get the PoR characters regardless at this point. i've got at most like, 30 orbs i'll be able to spend on that (sitting at 17 now). Azura + Sigurd might be doable at least.

The next update introduces the sacred temple, you can upgrade seals and buy skills for your units, the most expensive things are awakening weapons, weapons like the yato, durandal and other 8 weapons (half of them are swords anyway), to change the skill they have, durandal for example can only be upgraded to blazing durandal and yato gets the blazing and shadow upgrades, blazing removes one point from the speed boost you get by initiating attack and adds 3 attack, basically swift sparrow 1, only underused units get upgrades so dont expect powercreep, also getting seals to level 3 is very expensive but some seals have many paths like spur def can be upgraded to spur def 3 or spur def/res 2 and so on.

That's everything for october, arvis IS an armored mage and his tome is like the gem weapons (ruby sword), i dont know abouy the genealogy banner and the next gauntlet is warriors themed, there wont be a mini tempest trial next month.

And buying the ike amiibo is cheaper than buying the ike dlc in warriors and so on.

The other weapons are just there, the cheapest one are the gem weapons, the killer weapons and the armorslayers the most expensive one are the slaying weapons (except the bow),brave weapons and awakening, everything else is inbetween, tomes are all cheap, the other new weapons are just Thoron+

Hmm, seems plausible. Yato looks very strong if true and Eliwood becomes discount Roy. Access to slaying weapons would be nice. I think I've spent feathers on 4 bladetomes, but what's done is done. It still might be preferable to spending coins depending on the exchange rate and their difficulty to get.

if that's true, a 4*+10 Eliwood would basically be identical to either neutral Roy or +atk/-spd, depending on which boon you choose for him, but with a bunch more res. or much easier to 5*+10 if you really wanted, to be equal to a +5 or 6 Roy.

i still have 103 coins so i didn't lose a HUGE amount. i mean technically i had the ability to get top 5k every time but that would have been super stressful. even the weeks i did it i only managed top 10k once, and top 20k the other 3 times. so more realistically i just lost 6 coins per week those other 3 weeks.

and yeah i would assume Hinoka banner for the gauntlet and that's why we didn't get one during these warriors maps.
