Hopefully this topic stays elementary school drama free.

Also despite the sort of Squeenix hairdo, you are one handsome motherf***er.

I mean that in a non gay way. Like, I imagine you just have to be killin' it in a sea of p****.

Aw, thanks dude. Yea, I spiked the back, and grew out my bangs.... I... I just don't know. I actually just razor blade my head right now and go for a 'The Rock' look. Occasionally grow a goatee and look like those suave reggaeton artists. Its alright. I've grown to like it.

We all go through some kind of soul crushingly embarrassing teen phases. The shaved and goatee look is probably a good choice for you. I've done fairly buzzed styles before with somewhat pathetically lazy facial hair that I call the "bed face"... But lately it's just been douchey faded fauxhawks with fairly sophisticated and mature looking trimmed facial hair, straight out of a barber shop style. It works.

Oh and you need to find you a woman that is into the nerding out, since it is the best, hands down. My boy and I pretty much only lift weights, nerd the hell out on video games and eat tons of food. It's the life. I'm sure there is a fineass woman out there that is actually up to your league AND likes to nerd out. Likely rare, but I'm a hell of a wingman. We can find her.

I looked like such a huge douche in my older pictures. Spoiler alert: duckface and popped collar in some of them... But one of them did sit at a 10 on that old "hot or not" website when I was about 21. I was as proud of it then as I am ashamed of it now. I always thought "a lot of my friends are dude-bros" and the Twilight Zone twist came by way of realizing I was one of them.

Okay, so I managed to find a non-douche picture from my early twenties... My camera sucked and the blue isn't a filter, it's actually from a mistimed flash or something (but I liked the effect and kept the photo). I don't look much different now. I ditched the lip ring and look older, but that's about it.

Yeah, sugar will do that. It's a real b**** too, because you can be strong and healthy and active and in shape, but the extra sugar puts that little bit of fat over your abs. I'm very passionate about health/fitness and I have helped a ton of people with this kind of stuff, and a surprisingly large amount of them are just that, in great shape but they drink tons of soda for example.

I fortunately have the genetics where I have abs almost no matter what. Combine that with a great program of excellent nutrition and lifting, and the results are insane.

I got a little carried away. Basically what I'm saying is, you can do it! It's never really too late.

The most difficult part for me is honestly gaining muscle mass. If I stop working out for even a few weeks, everything I gain basically wastes away. Consistency in eating habits is definitely more important than anything.

I gain muscle quickly, thankfully; it's partly because my preferred diet has lots of iron and protein, and partly genetics. I'm really my own setback by being lazy. I cut back on sugar and junk food pretty significantly last year but haven't resumed regular workouts. I have a routine I like, and my dad's been doing this stuff since the '70s and knows everything, so there is literally nothing stopping me beyond myself.

Part of my recent concern is quality of life when I'm older. My dad had what's casually referred to as a "paratrooper's back" and needed major surgery. He was pretty much back to normal within the first week and was never relegated to a wheelchair mostly because of his athleticism.

I'm the opposite right now. I've been working out regularly for the past few months but have not done much to change my diet yet. I need to buy some protein and eat more meals throughout the day. I think I've heard of paratrooper's back before but I can't remember what it is.
