Like, the one man drunkify is ok, I don't mind that (though I think it should be every three weeks just to be consistent with other hax abilities like pudge's hook). But remember how people took Kuja to be able to do shit-all while drunk in that Kuja vs Kain match? Imagine that on a whole team. It'd be a slaughter. Drunkification is strong, yo.

I've been thinking about Lil' Slugger a bit and wanted to tweak him to make him more powerful since he's a niche role.

Lil' Slugger (Paranoia Agent)
Villainous Male Otherworldly
2/week Pure Support

*whirrrrrrrrr* (Trigger) Whenever an opposing merc's ability fails or is cancelled, they will become fearful with a heightened sense of dread for the week's battle. The paranoia and fears grows more intense with every subsequent failure.

THWACK! (Trigger) Every week, Lil' Slugger will begin the match violently clubbing an opposing merc affected by *whirrrrrrrrr* in the head with a golden bat. This damage is multiplied for every stack of *whirrrrrrrrr* they currently have. If more than one merc is affected this way, one is chosen randomly.

Upgrades:

Mellow Maromi (Trigger) Whenever an opposing merc triggers *whirrrrrrrrr* but wasn't affected by THWACK!, that merc will gain a Maromi dog plush during Results for each stack of *whirrrrrrrrr* they have. As long as that merc has any Maromi plushes, they will cling to the stuffed animals for comfort during battle and be protective of them, though not to a ridiculous extent.

That merc will also be under the effect of *whirrrrrrrrr* each battle for each Maromi plush they have. After being rostered on a win, they will shake their fears and leave behind (one/all) Maromi plushes (including today's battle, if applicable).

You merely hurt and kill suffering people and believe you've relieved them from suffering (Trigger) Lil' Slugger will prioritize mercs with Maromi Plushes for THWACK! If THWACK! hits a merc with a Maromi plush, Lil' Slugger will put them out of their misery, KOing and injuring them (but also removing all of their plushes).

Dance with the Reaper (Pre-Battle) - Oh no, it looks like your Merc died! Well not yet, but they might if you can't beat Death at his own game(s). The Reaper is notoriously bad at this, so he's decided instead one of your Pure Supports will be chosen for this ability versus one of your opponent's Pure Supports, both randomly chosen. If someone doesn't have any Pure Supports then choose randomly from one of the ordinary mercs, yawn. All subsequent conditions will apply to them.

Once the champions are selected, roll randomly for which game they'll play. A side topic will be created and the loser's linked merc will be KOed. This ability may be used once every three weeks.

20% - Chess. Whichever team Death is on plays White

20% - Scrabble

20% - Twister. Random spins, first to fall loses

20% - Battleship

20% - Boxing. 12 rounds, standard WBA rules

Upgrades

Ability Upgrade

Death's owner may choose their champion versus the opponent's random selection. This choice must be a Pure Support unless no Pure Supports are owned by Death's team.

Messing with Jack some

Captain Jack Sparrow
Neutral Male Human
1/week

Captain Jack Sparrow is as seen in the Pirates of the Caribbean films carrying a sword, flintlock pistol, a spyglass and his compass (currently pointing him towards nothing in particular). He is as drunk as he typically is in the movies.

Customization - Each week, Jack may choose to be accompanied by Jack the Monkey in battle. Whenever he does so, the monkey will steal an item from the customization of one random merc in the match post-rosters (rolled from both teams. If the merc has no customization, choose a random weapon from their writeup). Jack the Monkey will carry that item into battle that week, and anyone is free to take it from him if they can.

But why is the rum gone? (Start of Battle) - Every two weeks, Jack's rum may mysteriously go missing! Through nefarious means it turns out the other team has it, and as this is all Jack wants out of the current week's fight, his compass will unerringly guide him towards the enemy team. In addition, one randomly selected post-roster merc on the enemy side will battle that week completely drunk.

Ability Upgrade

Optionally, Jack may forgo the post-roster drunk roll to instead roll against the entire enemy team, with a 10% of each merc becoming drunk. Jack will mysteriously join them in drinking at the start of the battle however and make no particular effort to fight anyone that week.

New Ability

"You cheated!" "Pirate." (Trigger) - Jack Sparrow did not get this far in life by playing fair. For any given ability with a random outcome that strikes his team, Jack may reroll it for a week's recharge on this ability. If he does not like that outcome, he may continue rerolling it for an additional week's recharge until he hits the result he likes. Pirate.

New Ability

I Got a Jar of Dirt (Start of Battle) - In a strange turn of events, Jack may opt each week to bring a large jar of dirt to battle. He will declare loudly at the start of battle that he has a jar of dirt and will challenge the enemy team to guess what's inside it! The opposing team will believe utterly that there is something valuable inside of that jar of dirt and will attempt to the best of their ability to capture it from Jack without breaking it.

Terrain

The Black Pearl - A pirate vessel floating in the Caribbean. Access to the ocean is allowed.

Waffled on whether he was a 2 or a 3, but he's got a bit of toonforce defense going on (dodges bullets point blank, tanked laser beams, etc). Plus don't fuck with him in Let's Get Dangerous mode

Darkwing Duck (Darkwing Duck)
Heroic Male Beast

Darkwing Duck is as seen in his show in Let's Get Dangerous mode. He is armed with his multi-purpose gas gun equipped with knockout, smog and tear gas, boxing gloves, sticky bombs and itching powder, as well as the grappling hook. He will ride to battle on the Ratcatcher motorcycle after making his introduction.

I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the noun that verbs your noun! I am Darkwing Duck! (Passive) - At the start of each battle, Darkwing Duck will make his presence known by appearing on the highest point on the terrain and yelling his signature introduction loudly enough that everyone can hear it. Somehow any enemy attacks will miss him while he does this, and when finished he will magically rejoin his team, hopping onto the Ratcatcher bike.

Let's Get Dangerous! (Start of Battle) - Darkwing is a scarily competent crimefighter when he wants to be. Every three weeks he may demonstrate this by stalking a randomly selected Villainous merc on the enemy team. Darkwing will automatically be aware of whatever strengths and weaknesses that merc possesses, and in addition the following effects may occur. Roll for each of them with a 25% chance, the effects will stack if more than one lands.

Darkwing gets the drop on the dastardly villain, spraying them in the face with his dreaded gas gun! The enemy will spend the first 30 seconds of combat asleep and unable to be woken by any means.

Darkwing manages to snag the merc with his patented superglue! They will be stuck to the floor by the feet and unable to move for the first minute of combat, though they are free to otherwise act.

Darkwing gets the vile fiend with the Hypnodisk! He will convince the enemy that Darkwing Duck is an all-around cool guy and should never be picked on. The target will not consider Darkwing an enemy in battle unless provoked by him.

Darkwing swings in on his grappling hook and gives the evil doer a fierce dropkick at the start of the fight! Sometimes you have to keep it simple.

Upgrades

Ability Upgrade

Add the following option to Let's Get Dangerous - Darkwing summons help from Launchpad McQuack! Unfortunately he's as bad at landings as ever, but will somehow manage to plow the Thunderquack into wherever the targeted enemy villain is standing at the start of the fight. They and his team are free to try and dodge, and Launchpad will somehow disappear after the crash.

New Ability

Fearsome Five (Pre-Battle) - Darkwing Duck has collected a motley assortment of enemies. Every four weeks, the Fearsome Five may spring forth from wherever they were hiding as a third party in the battle. Consider them loyal to neither team, but if they are voted to win the fight then Darkwing's team will be declared the victor (yet all the credit for the win will go to the Fearsome Five. Dastardly!)

Negaduck II is as he appears in Darkwing Duck wielding his chainsaw with other chainsaws attached to the chainsaw, bombs and a flamethrower. He does not have the powers of his allies.

Megavolt is as seen in Darkwing Duck with all displayed powers.

Bushroot is as seen in Darkwing Duck with full control over plants.

Quackerjack is as seen in Darkwing Duck armed with chomping false teeth, motorized hula hoop and fire shooting fire trucks. He is accompanied by Mr. Banana Brain.

Liquidator is as seen in Darkwing Duck. For the purposes of the battle, he will be considered defeated if his body is dispersed or otherwise captured.

Terrain

Darkwing Tower - Darkwing Duck's hideout located on Audubon Bay Bridge. The hideout, bridge and bay are accessible.

Amon (The Legend of Korra)
Villainous Male Superhuman

Amon is as seen in season one of The Legend of Korra, in full equalist attire. He has all of his waterbending and bloodbending abilities, but may not remove people's powers. Nobody is aware of his true identity.

Abilities

You Are Powerless (Start of Battle)
- Once every three weeks, Amon will select a random superhuman merc on the enemy team. He will make an example of them in front of everyone, bringing them to the center of the terrain and performing his chi-blocking technique to strip them of any supernatural abilities. For the first 5 seconds of the match, he will perform his chi-blocking technique, with the enemy frozen in place and unable to resist. The ability can be interrupted by other mercs. If successful, the enemy merc will lose any non-equipment-based powers they have.

I Told You I Would Destroy You (Trigger) - If the enemy selected by "You Are Powerless" is Heroic, Amon will prove just how weak they truly are. The ability will react like normal, but rather than stripping their powers, Amon will strip them of all life force, KOing them at the end of the 5 seconds.

Upgrades

New Abilities:
The Equalists have been forced to hide in the shadows (Results) - Each week when Amon is rostered, he will finish the match by giving a rousing speech to those spectating in the darkness. 1-3 followers will be randomly selected to join the Equalist cause. These followers will stack upon subsequent weeks.

It's time to take back our city! (Pre-Battle) - Once every seven weeks, Amon may finally rally his followers to his cause. Human mercs of 5 upkeep or less will be randomly selected from the unbought pool until the total upkeep equals or exceeds the number of followers (maxing out at five mercs). Each of the mercs selected from the unbought pool will come to battle as free assists this week, equipped with Equalist electrified gloves in addition to their normal equipment, and following Amon's instructions in battle. None of the drafted Equalists may use any abilities.

Terrain

Republic City Rally Building - A large abandoned convention building in the industrial area of Republic City, where the Equalist rallies are held. Access to the rest of Republic City is off limits.

(Pre-Battle) - The fact of the matter is that if you don't bring in the overkill then Leon will probably make a monkey of your assassination efforts. As such, every four weeks the voice of Detective Stansfield will mysteriously yell out and enable the enemy team to roster everyone on their team with no limits that week!
