Yes for me.

People would laugh at me when I said Camp Rock was a cinematic masterpiece.

Also, I was completely and utterly alone and didn't get invited to a single party because I was a loser.

One of those complaints seems really, really minor compared to the other one.

Pretty much all of my problems have always been internal, so I can't really blame anything or anyone else for "bad years" with the exception of grade 6, when I had a psychotic bitch for a teacher (from what I understand, her kids both wound up on hard drugs, which wasn't surprising). There are still people I don't like from when I was growing up, but I was an asshole sometimes too, so there's no grudge. I was never victimized, really, so maybe I can't see it from the side of somebody that was beaten up every day (or whatever), but I can't see any benefit from dwelling on things that have no importance presently.

I've always regretted skipping most of high school, but alot of people say it sucked. To be honest at the time it just seemed like a waste of time I could be spending working.

Only regretted it years later but I think I'm over that now.

Do wish I had gone to college in my teens/late 20's though instead of later, would have been more fun.....and I had a full scholarship, so cheaper as well.

Oh well, whatever, my life was what it was and I certainly can't complain.

I get that, in the sense that I feel like if I'd cared about my future at all while in high school, instead of just coasting and having fun, I'd be happier today. I had enough foresight to take harder courses in case I needed them, at least... My biggest problem was that I was way too immature to be constructive in any way and I just flat-out didn't care about anything. I felt safe that everything would just be easy forever, and aside from some health complications, it has been.

My experience wasn't as bad as what other people make theirs out to be, there were dumb parts and awful parts like mismanaged and bad relationships/friendships and some obnoxious teachers. But I like to think I had more good times than bad. So I guess it wasn't the worst for me.

Probably. I got bullied at school, never felt like I belonged anywhere and had a terrible home-life at that time. It wasn't all bad though as I enjoyed some learning, school trips and some socialising.

Once I left school though at 16 I felt free. I didn't have to put up with idiots all that much and I didn't have to do things I didn't want to. Although being friendless, no girlfriend and all that jazz still rings true now my life is much more stress free than it was back then.

Best years of my life. I wasn't bullied or made fun of by anyone, got a long with practically everyone. I barely passed school but the final senior year was amazing. I didn't have a first or seventh period. So I went into school late and got out early.

i thought the kids in middle school were much meaner than in h.s. in h.s. they seemed to mellow out. I don't know why but around that age middle school age kids just seem to be the most assholerish imo

middle school was worse, the kids were way meaner. even though in middle school I got invited to some parties, I wasn't allowed to go. I was also not super self-aware back then so I cringe when thinking of some of the things I did of said in middle school.

tell me about it, for the most part i'm in the same boat, I switched elementary schools 5 times, middle school 3 times (though all 3 times was in one year) and high school 5 times.

somehow I managed to keep a friend i've known since he was 4.

Middle school was horrible

High school drove me near mad

College was boring and no one talked to each other.

I'm trying a different college later. One with lots of idiots that pay lots of money to get into pointless colleges to have fun.

Yeah, I would say so. i"m 28 years old now. And I would say now are the best times of my life. I take care of myself better, I hike, dedicated to martial arts, have a job, have more reliable friends, have more money, just have more freedom overall, and I'm much happier now.

I had some bad years in high school, but overall it was fine. Middle school was horrible though, pretty much constant bullying in 7th and 8th grade (until I finally stood up to one of the bullies and punched him in the face), didn't even have a locker for half of 8th grade because they had too many students, they never cleaned the floors in the school (like literally your shoes would be covered in dust just from walking around all day), etc.

No; I had a good time during my High School years. I enjoyed school, music and videogaming was at its prime (IMO), and I went to Germany as an exchange student for a while, which was a great experience.

Worst for me was, perhaps, during my first year at my first full-time job.

I hated it.

I hated going to 6 classes every day (with each of them shifting one hour later, and having the 7th class not on that day), and having to deal with all that homework after more than 6 hours.

I never bothered partaking in any after-school functions, and my few friends I made there, I no longer kept in touch 9 years later.

Yeah, I agree, it was a huge waste of 4 years of my life. 3 if you count middle school. That was worse. Elementry is where I had it good.

High school was average for me. It was the easiest part of school, and i was starting to have some self confidence and friends, which made things easier.

Early childhood was bad (father was...."messed up" would be the nicest way to put it. Let's just say I'm lucky to be alive).

Elementary to junior high was a disaster, reflecting many other people in this thread apparently. Picked on all the time, got beat up, teachers laughed at it, etc. It got better as I got older.

College was nice socially with friends and stuff, but it was rough. While i finished top of my class, that came at a pretty severe cost to my health and to this day deal with permanent sleep disorders because of it (pro tip: staying in front of a computer starts being hazardous after 72+ hours without break except for going to the bathroom)

After that was mediocre as the economy wasn't too hot, but it got better and its been smooth sailing since then (well, aside for the sleep disorders that wrecks my attention span like if I had ADHD)
