Odds are you'll be with people who've done the fight like a thousand times already. So you should be fine. It's not a hard fight.

If I happen to be on when you're about to queue up for it, I could join in with you.

I know when I did the fight the first time, we wiped so many times some people didn't quite get that we needed to rush the nail down.

Technically never (you can get everything you need from other players on the Market Board) but it's a lot cheaper to harvest your own stuff. It's the classic dilemma of what's more valuable to you - your time or your profit margin?

Battlecraft leves are mostly a waste of time, especially on your first combat class. They're one of the best ways to level crafters and gatherers, though.

No and no, and in fact I don't think there will be any new training for Archer. The training exercises are divided into tank, DPS, and healer courses, and by doing Lancer you already cleared DPS.

On a different note, I managed to find all the Aetherite Shards in Ul'Dah and Gridania, but I couldn't complete the one in Limsa Lomensa. Not sure where else it could be, I scoured all the Upper and Lower Decks and couldn't find anything.
