That's the end. They failed in the qualifiers. I hadn't been following or anything but tonight it officially ended.

I don't know anything about soccer but that seems really bad that they didn't even qualify

It's horrible. It's one thing to lose in the first round of the Cup but they missed qualifying because they couldn't beat Trinidad and Tobago. Their population is barely a million. And you know, good for them, I'm happy for them, but there's no excuse for the US to lose to a country that small. We have literally 300 times as many people to find talent from and we still lose. US soccer should be humiliated.

But I thought soccer is hugely gaining fans and players and more popular than ever in the US

Apparently the MLS helped other teams beat the US. Since Trump is so interested in sports, he should ban all non Americans from playing in the MLS

I don't really care that much because I'm not into soccer and I always think America seems pretty out of place with all these legitimate soccer-crazy nations. It's just a reflection of how big and prosperous we are rather than actual passion for the sport. For the same reason I find it tiresome how we predictably dominate the overall medal counts in the Olympics

I think what the Sockman said was he had read that Molitor might get fired and if so he thought it was a bad decision. Regardless this has been analyzed too much as we all know Ultima was just having a laugh.

I picked it up on Switch. I live on Antifa Farm and my favorite thing is safe spaces

You guys always make me wonder if I should get these games too, but I feel like we have pretty different taste in games so it's probably a bad idea. I'm still playing Pokemon and I'm not crazy about it. I guess I just don't get it. Is it better to catch a bunch of them and try to level them evenly, or just get a few good ones and put most of my effort into them? I know I'm not going to catch all of them so I really just want to beat the game as easily as possible

I sort of think you just missed the nostalgia "magic" of pokemon by not playing it as a kid. Same with me and OoT.

You should get stardew valley though it's great

Just find a few that you like and that have different elemental types and then beat the game if you want. Some Pokemon are better than others but you can win with anything. The game is the same all the way through so if you don't like it now, you won't like it later,so you could quit unless it's one of those things you want to check off your list.

This is absurd that the Yankees came back to win this series. We're gonna get a Cubs Yankees WS, the two worst teams in the division series

I mean, it's not like it's "hard" per se. There isn't a hard limit based on your skill since you can always shuffle your Pokemon or go grind levels. I just don't really know how to tell if I'm doing things optimally since pretty much the only benchmark is whether you win or lose battles. In an action game that has some reliance on reflexes, I assume that I'm going to die a few times, but if I "die" in Pokemon I feel like I must be doing something wrong since it's mainly about battle preparation.

I'll try this. I do have some crappy Pokemon I already wasted XP on, but I guess it's not a huge deal since I caught most of them before I had six. I do want to check it off my list but it really has felt like nothing much changes in it.

with the in-game pokemon campaign (for any version), you can pull out your wiener and slap it on your game boy/DS/3ds controllers and still win the game.
The competitive online battling is actually really good. It's like rock paper scissors mixed with texas hold em but with more variables. I used to play, haven't played in years, but it was fun.
