I was hospitalized in July because I was suicidial and they adjusted my meds.

Since then I've moved out of my Dads and Brothers (which caused a lot of stress), studying to become a history teacher, and have cut pretty much all games/TV out of my life.

I'm scared..I haven't felt this technical or able to focus on drawings in a long ass time. Like probably since I turned 20 5 years ago when I stopped drawing. Doing well in school.

I know what my drawings are like when I'm manic it's something like this..

I'm not sure if the med adjustment is working or if it's about removing the distractions and stresses in my life. I'm going to call my Psychiatrist tomorrow and see if I can talk to him over the phone. I feel like I have this renowned sense of self worth and clarity, and I don't want it to end.

The first is very visceral.
The second is a mundane sketch.

The question is, is your madness the source of your inspiration and is it worth it.
No one can answer that, but you.

I can relate to this as someone diagnosed with clinical depression, on a musical level though. Used to make really dark, scary stuff(description of the feelings of anxiety/depression) now I am more technical and positive and upbeat. Its pretty amazing. NEVER thought I'd get out of that hole I was in.

It's not.

I couldn't focus on lines or anything. There were some days where I struggle to draw a stick figure, and there were days where I could feel like I could do anything. Now it's a middle ground.

That's interesting.

Do you have any links? I'd love to listen to it.

Could be an adjustment period to your meds.
I'm not a doctor, so don't take my word too seriously.

I like that first one...
I see a person with a person with a big heart that feels like they are swirling and choking from fear that there may be a monster in them.
