The problem with the Shield reunion here is that they didn't even try to make it cool. Like they literally have Roman come out to stand there so Miz can outright tell you that the Shield is reuniting and then Roman confirms it and then Ambrose and Rollins walk out separately. Even when they attacked Braun they didn't bring back their old music. Why on Earth would you not just have Miz and company talking trash about how they've proved they can beat anyone, everyone's afraid of them, all that usual stuff, Miz says no one else is smart enough to work together like he and his bros are, cue the Shield theme and entrance through the crowd?

It's kind of cool to see the Shield together as a group again but that way of doing it was just the antithesis of hype. They tell us repeatedly it's about to happen, then it happens, then Cole starts telling you how surprising it is.

This feels like a poor man's JeriKO. While I like the "Shane is a liar" angle, I don't care for the fact that we're going right back to Kevin Owens and his best friend hamming it up angle that we spent a very long time with rather recently.

Same. Neville's been on fire for a while now as a character (and finally matching his in-ring work) so if he's really done then the WWE really fucked up.

Like it might be another Aries situation where he wanted to move out the Cruiserweight division and they weren't willing to let him.

Because he will not be used much on 205 Live, Raw, or the live show circuit. They only ever have one singles match for the Cruiserweights on the house shows with that many of them.

Now is better than ever for Neville to hit the indies since he is a huge name, got over big with the hardcore crowd, and can likely make more money than his WWE contract.

Like, it makes all the sense in the world for him if they're only going to use him sparingly. He proved himself, brought interest into their dead division, and WWE refuses to reward him.
