I didn't believe in the pay gap either, but now that I've seen how full of fuming hot gas the skeptic community is I'm starting to wonder.

it happens just not at every job like some would have you believe. seen it happen to my mother at a job and I think she gave a fair response to the matter. she quit doing all aspects of the job and told her bosses, that they knew she was capable of it as they had seen her do it, but until she got equal pay she refused to do equal work.

that is just one of many many jobs shes had though and i've never heard her complain about it at other jobs.

edit: to be completely fair though, most places that my mother applies to in her career field she generally out qualifies most other candidates male or female, where as the one job she got that she did bitch about pay gap was walmart, during a period of time she couldn't find work within her career field.

Even though the laws say they should be treated the same, they just... aren't.
For instance, black people are disproportionately targeted by police. For breaking the same laws, a black person will be punished much more harshly than a white person. Even if that amount is "zero", minorities tend to get harassed and "inspected" way more often than is fair.

He wasn't asking the question to actually hear a reasoned answer. He's already made up his mind.
