Thinking about checking this out and I remember seeing something about there being a bunch of skippable episodes in the first couple seasons?

Watched the two part premiere. Seemed pretty solid. Amused at how Archer kinda feels similar to Lorca in some ways. The show feels a little more dated than it seems like it should though.
