Until taxes are donations and not payments for services, we have the right to wish we did not spend such money on frivolous entitlement programs to provide more of a tax burden on those of us who actually do work.

So basically you're only willing to do the bare minimum to show how grateful you are to your country? Something absolutely worthless and virtue signaling as standing for the fucking flag.

Apparently you don't respect this country as much as you tout. So stop bitching and wetting the bed over people kneeling for the anthem.

This is borderline the stupidest argument I have ever seen, but alas, tazzy already took that cake. (Plus whoever literally used an occupy democrats argument)

Black people have the right to wish cops wouldn't kill them.

Cops kill every race of people.

so maybe white people should join them instead of shutting them down? yeah you're right

Maybe if they did it in a way that wasn't disrespecting our country they would. Just a thought.

My argument is nothing more than you are absolutely wrong. By your own definition you provided earlier, it says refusing to accomodate said protest. He did accomodate it. He literally agreed to support it off the field or for it to be allowable at any other literal point in time besides during the national anthem (probably not during a play either).

You fail even by your own definitions and terms you bring into it.

Your argument is wah wah wah if I can't do whatever I want whenever I want at detriment to whoever I want then I am gonna complain and whine and act like I am oppressed.

What a country we live in where people get more upset over some people kneeling during the anthem, than Justine Damond, Philando Castille, Tamir Rice or the many other people killed by police. More outrage for kneeling than for Nazis marching in Charlottesville. If kneeling upsets those people, then I don't really give a fuck.

Pretty sure Charlottesville had more outrage then you just insinuated. As far as those cop shootings, I do not know the circumstances off head behind them, but considering how rioting and looting was seen as justified for shooting a literal criminal in Ferguson, I am going to reserve judgment there for now.

Actually they kneel in prayer.

Like Tebow did, at which point 100% of the mainstream media mocked, ridiculed, and forced him out of the league for "injecting religion into football"

Not during the national anthem.
The NBA has already reiterated there is to.be no kneeling or any form of protest during their national anthems and they are a more liberal league.

The hilarious thing about the whole "They're disrespecting the country!" thing is that... Initially, they stayed seated on the bench or stayed in the lockerroom, until a veteran told them it'd be more respectful to kneel. So now they're kneeling, but that's still apparently an issue.

There's a huge difference between showing respect and showing pride. Kneeling in silence, sometimes even with hands over their hearts, is not showing disrespect. It's showing a lack of PRIDE, but it's not showing disrespect. If they were talking during the anthem, turning away, etc... That'd be disrespect. What they're doing is refusing to show pride, not refusing to show respect.

yeah and SJW veterans wouldn't have an issue with him just staying seated either

the point of kneeling vs just sitting is specifically to signify that you are protesting, to ensure nobody confuses your behavior with laziness or obliviousness

it makes a better protest but I don't see how drawing increased attention to yourself is "more respectful" than the alternative.

It's literally never been about kneeling though. It's about letting politics divide the team. He first says politics have an effect on who is on the team. Then he links arms with the team and kneels, signaling that politics won't divide the team. Afterwards, he reaffirms his statement that politics will, in fact, divide the team, meaning that his action of linking arms and kneeling was a farce, thereby leading me to call him a hypocrite, because that is hypocrisy.

That you and Corrik continue to believe I am discussing politics, and not the obvious fact that Jerry Jones is a hypocrite, shows that you either aren't reading my posts, or that you aren't comprehending them. Maybe that's on me or something, but looking through everything I've said, i don't think I've ever let on that I am letting morals decide my opinion.

So you greatly respect communists and are disgusted by anyone who disrespects them?
