Time will tell. He definitely does not seem presidential. I think he needs to lighten up. People enjoy being inspired by their leader. Instead, he usually appears in fight mode all the time against anyone who doubts him. Every president gets attacked, he needs to brush it off for once.

Given the big either/or, you've made "yes" the more reasonable of the two options. In reality, he's thus far been a so-so president and, if he fails to deliver on his promises, he'll go out as a mediocre president. Granted, 4 years of doing little beats 4 years of doing the wrong things so he's more a reprieve than anything.

That doesn't make any sense.

Unless if you mean that Andrew Jackson (known for foul language, killing men in duels, and being as crude as possible, all while coming from complete poverty), Abraham Lincoln (widely mocked during his time for being a wrestler when he was a lawyer), and Theodore Roosevelt (who was put into Vice Presidency solely to prevent that "crazy cowboy" from gaining any real power), weren't Presidential.

why is it "no he's evil" and "yes he's the best"

the correct answer is no. full stop. he's done nothing fascist and i supposed you could make an argument for him being evil, in that he's uncaring/unsympathetic on a few things. I dont think he's done anything good. and is so far sub-par as a president. but i dont think hillary woulda been better, and i don't think he's done anything fascist.

And he's probably pissed off more people than Harry Truman.

He just hasn't been doing a good job, he can't get the few good bills to pass since TPP and he tries to pass horrible healthcare bills which thank god they don't pass and whine all of the time, oh and he still hasn't passed RACA and is wanting too much in exchange for DACA which if he passed RACA would've never had to have been done. He needs to stop whining, stop meddling in healthcare (in which both parties should stop doing unless it's universal healthcare), and either leave DACA alone or pass RACA to get rid of DACA.

Because apparently the goal is to get everybody to love the country? When we're giving away massive amounts of free money to countries (and indirect subsidies like military protection) which don't necessarily need it while ballooning our deficit, we're fucking beloved... yet it's also awful for the nation.

What's baffling is that you think a candidate who vowed to expand the welfare state and take the country in the wrong direction towards full dependency on a government which can only grow more authoritarian as a result is a good thing. For all of his problems, Trump is at least moving us from that direction which is, as dancer put it, "tons better than the alternative" who, in turn, was tons better than that fucking madman Bernie "High Sparrow" Sanders.

You're saying that doesn't happen anyway with every politician? Hillary's campaign was funded by tons of major corporations. They didn't do it out of the goodness of their bleeding hearts.

Trump stops congress from doing anything because they won't cooperate with him, and in turn he won't cooperate with them either.

That's all people wanted when they put Trump in office. Nobody expected "progress".

No. Though, astonishingly, his incompetence is actually keeping him from being a particularly destructive president. I mean, he's in way over his head, but in terms of how much he's actually wrecking the country it's been surprisingly mild. Certainly a lot less than I was expecting.

I mean, it's early days yet and he could still pull off some pretty horrible stuff, but so far he's just been loud and obnoxious more than anything.

I love how 90% of that article is claiming credit for shit that was already happening under Obama (an upward trending economy) that really has nothing to do with Trump, and the remainder is "He met with foreign leaders" (aka, doing what every President ever has done since the country was formed) and "He sent out an awesome tweet."

Nah here is the thing. We can't estimate a value on the damage he is doing to foreign relations. We have essentially lost of position as leader of the free world. I have no clue how little or how much this matters at this point. The only thing I do know is that it isn't a thing that should have ever happened.

Also, his intention to make the US a country that businesses WANT to be based out of is massive benefit. Up until this past election, more and more corporations were leaving the US to go countries that offer more favorable tax rates and fewer regulations. If he gets tax reform, we'll see the benefits on a much larger scale.....Which brings us to the virtually unprecedented growth in the stock market immediately following the election. Almost everyone with any kind of money invested anywhere is benefiting as result of the policies the president is advocating.
