I don't consider BD a FF either, but I'm also unlikely to ever play it since the demo was a total turnoff. It's just some stepkid wanting to be acknowledge by daddy Final Fantasy by trying to use all the stuff it does

Again, I apologized for that and if you really want to lay that out I was coaxed by someone not to allow wrestlers in because they had no actual kingdoms, so they couldn't be actual kings/royalty. It wasn't some random decision I made on my own to get rid of "joke characters", especially in a contest that contained a lot of characters I didn't like. I am a wrestling fan after all.

I know you apologized for that. But trying to make that a distinction in and of itself to me seems like you're, even if only at a subconscious level, always trying to narrow down the field in these things for arbitrary reasons. I mean even this contest you were (subtly) trying to knock out Ariana in the nomination phase.

Don't get me wrong, your distinctions always have defined rules, but it's kinda like the laws in Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Like, yeah, okay, you told me I can't use fire-- but is there a reason I can't other than just because? It always feels like it's just a rationalization to exclude for the sake of it more than anything.

I mean you're a wrestling fan I am aware so I don't know what your motive was there-- maybe you had some sorta grandiose vision of "legitimacy" that you didn't want tarnished at that point of time, but it's been a recurring theme in these save mys, really.

Leonhart banning Dark Nation is much worse than any sin you've committed, so you know, could definitely be doing worse!

I may throw in noms for them if I ever play the game

Mainly cause I think I'm only gonna try to get 1 new character that I like in this year (if I go with 2 it's just begging for something I like to be booted/elim'd)
