41 y/o Matthew J Stubbendieck from Nebraska is charged with assisted suicide after he helped his 38 y/o gf, Alicia Wilemon-Sullivan to kill herself in the woods after she told him she had "terminal cancer"...but an autopsy report shows that she did NOT have a trace of it in her body!!

He told cops that Alicia killed herself on August 5th before leading officers to her body in the woods.

The couple arranged for her to fly to Nebraska from her home in Florida to kill herself and that she wanted to "die in his arms"

Her 15 y/o son, Andrew learned of his mother's death from an older brother in Mississippi

She apparently told him that she had stage 4 cancer in the lympth nodes on her neck, armpit and stomach..but a pathologist performed an autopsy finding nothing to suggest that

Matthew said she never accompanied with her to her medical appointments and said she didn't have a regular doctor and believed she was diagnosed in an ER..

Alicia left her children with a 19 y/o friend and told them she was going on vacation and the 3 kids were picked up by their grandmother

Matthew spoke with Alicia's mther and said "Alicia took a bunch of pills before she slit her wrists and died in his arms in a wooded area"..he was also dating her in the past year

Police said he tried to suffocate her twice while she was sleeping but stopped because she was suffering. He returned the next afternoon and found her dead but didn't call the cops until 3 DAYS LATER. He promised not to tell anyone about her death until 5-6 months later but changed his mind since the secret was "destroying his family".

Do you think he should go to Prison for this?

Do you think he should go to Prison for this?

Yes. I'd have asked for medical records as proof that said person who had tried to kill themselves multiple times has a incurable disease. It seems to me she had a metal disorder and 'tricked' him into killing her. That's assuming any of this is true at all and he didn't just flat out murder her. Whatever the case he broke the law so off to prison he goes.

Yes. While I'm in favour of assisted suicide, not without very tight controls to ensure that it is the right choice, and those simply are not in place yet. His intentions may have been noble, but he did break the law, and so should go to jail.

He should be charged and she should be denied any funeral rights and be composted for suicide when healthy and tricking people to help.

Did her kids know she supposedly had cancer? Did her parents know? It's strange not to ask anyone else about this. Like if she told everyone she had cancer, that's one thing, but if conveniently, she told no one else, that really makes this look more suspicious.
