I went with the next to the last one. Honestly the option I wanted to go with was "Pokemon Moon and Sun did not utilize 3D so it was a over priced 3DS title since it didn't use 3D at all". The point of the 3DS is to feature games using the 3D aspect of the system. Since Pokemon Moon/Sun didn't use 3D shouldn't the game be on the NEW 2DS not 3DS?

BTW: Is Ultra Monn and Ultra Sun actually going to use 3D?

the entire, literally the only, reason the 2ds and n2ds was made is because people do not use the 3d.

and that's ignoring that most games tend to also not use the 3d function.

Well they put a 3DS game on the 3DS so it should of used the 3DS aspect of the system but the game never did. POKEMON MOON and SUN should of been a NEW 2DS only game if that was the case. I didn't use it much, but I still liked having it.

I wouldn't even know what its like, it didn't sound appealing to me so I just bought a 2DS to save some money.

Fully agree with your statement. But since Nintendo are idiots they should of made the two NEW 2DS games not for the 3DS at all since Pokemon Moon and Sun didn't use 3D at all. They should of sold it for $10 to $15 NEW if Pokemon Moon and Sun were not going to use 3D at all.

I'll admit I did not know the NEW 2DS was the same as the 3Ds just without the 3DS. I got my 3DS before the NEW 2DS came out. I did not know NEW 2DS can also play 2DS and 3DS games as well as NEW 2DS games and NEW 3DS.

But still your missing my point. POKEMON SUN/MOOn were meant for the 3DS not 2DS. I still feel it should of never been advertised as a 3DS game but as a 2DS game.

I turned off the 3-D feature on my launch 3DS shortly after I got it. Has not been turned on since then, barring the times when my thumb accidentally bumps the slider. Hate that.

I know you're just trolling, but its pretty clear the game did intend to have 3D features. I actually make a game of trying to find them. The most obvious are the egg hatching animation, the little intro screen at the start of NPC trainer battles, and when you register a new entry on your Pokedex.

Presumably, they removed this because of performance issues. We already know that back in 6th gen, 3D animations would lag and look kinda bad. They had to disable it completely for triple battles. And a bunch of the newer pokemon are really complex graphically. Muk's shifting rainbow colors and Wishiwashi's Schooling form are good examples.

They probably had it working well on the New Nintendo 3DS, but not on the original 3DS. And people on the regular one would complain if 3D was disabled just on theirs, and not on the New one.

I'm hoping that US/UM will have the features, but if it doesn't, no biggie.

I feel like USUM is going to end up being what SuMo should have been. If USUM get a National Dex and they don't add it to SuMo I might mail Gamefreak some dog poo covered in cat vomit and baked into a pie with crust made from raccoon skin.
