Rollins and Ambrose dropped the tag titles to Cesaro and Sheamus.

Meaning every title vs. title match at Survivor Series is heels vs heels

There are NINE FUCKING CHAMPIONS in this company.... all 9 are now heels. Fuck this company. They have no unearthly clue why people watch Wrestling!!!!!!

I'm sure it's happened. But I seriously can't think of it. When was the last time EVERY Champion was a face? Seems like that should be relatively common, and I bet you it hasn't happened since the early early 2000s

Well RAW looks abysmal.

And apparently the last Tough Enough winner was released from developmental. Which giant lol to people in Tough Enough. Hopefully Mandy Rose continues to improve like she has and sticks around. I think she's the only one they got still from the last one.

The move to run against Raw was incredibly, incredibly awful. Maybe the single stupidest move theyve ever done.

Also hiring WWE cast offs and immediately putting them over all the home grown stars was questionable

But in 2017 this company has had to CHANGE THEIR NAME THREE TIMES

They havent changed networks or timeslots this year

Remarkable stability for a show that has had 4 networks and has been regularly aired on 6 different days of the week

If it was Just head to head with Raw I'd agree.

But it was also 10-10-10 (a day that only comes every 100 years you know....)

Them had fraud on a massive level as the storyline, a storyline that made EVERY face they had look like idiots ("it's like you were speaking in tongues") Jeff Hardy the only remotely marketable and money and merch moving draw they had turn heel, and to top it off they had a plant with a sign that said

"THEREEEEEEEEEE HERRRRRREEEEE"

They spelled they're wrong....

I'll say it: The Nasty Boys role in 2010 TNA was underrated. I mean they were fat and probably shouldn't have had as many matches or wins as they did but their schtick of being two fat slobs no one wants there was solid.

Like I think if they dialed up the nostalgia factor to 11 and combined that with good X-Division action it could have worked as sufficiently different.

Going halfway with it, and making the nostalgia acts the main event level stuff, just made it come off as diet WWE with WWE's guys from 10 years ago though.

Nastys only got where they were by riding a particular appendage of Hogan and only ever had one worthwhile match WM7 v Hart Foundation (Jimmy Hart was a BIG Factor in that).

I want to hammer this point you just made home real quick...

They made money ONE time ever... and their first idea and plan they had after making any money the only time ever, was to go head to head with the biggest name ever

They were only FOUR days out of the year when they went head to head with Raw. The first show they ever had after a year which they made profit they thought they'd go toe to toe with WWE.

The big thing they needed to wait for was general public reception of them to improve I think.

On the profit front there is something to be said for striking while the iron is hot but it was kind of a mirage caused by relatively lower operating costs and people who just wanted any alternative.

When you're not only turning a profit but generally have your fans saying "hey this is good stuff" THEN you go ham with trying to get more eyes on you.

Seriously though like 2010 TNA that basically kept its nostalgia acts to a division, with little branching out of it and only through extensively built feuds, that existed entirely to get eyes on the show, combined with their homegrown guys facing each other in good matches topping the cards, would have been awesome.

Like I think that's the only way to properly use people way past their prime. You can't job em to your guys silly nilly because that just makes em look bad and doesn't really get your guys over. You can't have em top the show because that makes your guys look bad.

Nastys vs Team 3D though? Great feud idea, properly placed on the card too.

That's fair. But the reason they are having to pay them is because of 2010.

Someday when this company finally dies and Reynolds and Alvarez (I hope to God with a forward by Vincent Verhai (sp) write the best book ever written, you can dedicate a whole chapter to 2010 alone. Hogan vs Flair on tv in 2010. They killed everyone. Hogan, Hardy, Flair, Lethal, RVD, beer money, Velvet, they made AJ damn Styles the next Ric Flair for Christ sakes, on top of the dumbest decision they ever made, on top of the worst storyline they ever had, on top of the worst booking they ever had, and they turned their only money maker heel.... They managed to get a 0.5 on Spike. A blank screen should get .5 on Spike tv.

Yes in 2017 they had to switch countries, yes they switched names multiple times, yes they got new belts when they owned TWO sets of belts that would have worked fine after the GFW acquiring, yes they are now paying fans to watch. Is any of that truly worse than 2010?

Could you dedicate a chapter in this book to 2017 alone?
