Madoka Magica is a legit 10/10 for me. So depressing.

Yeah, I can tell. I don't normally enjoy depressing "fuck they main characters, they need to suffer more" shows like this. But the story has been so interesting, the characters are so great, and the action scenes are so absolutely insane that I'm enjoying it a lot too. Even though I already knew about the infamous Mami scene, everything beyond that is new to me. And I have a feeling it's only going to get crazier as I get farther in.

Also, I need to start collecting reaction pics/gifs from this show. All I have right now is those two Homura pics from my last post and Madoka giving the middle finger.

It's not animated by madhouse, but having read the LN i guarantee it's gonna live up to expectations regardless, whats to come is pretty fucking great.

Only ranking I'd care to make is Sanae > Yuzu > Lime > Chi > Yuri

POS Mao and her drone strike.

Garbage that doesn't even deserve to be called upon in the first place. Doubt her damage would be any better than the other attack girls and with Yuzu and Lime doing 7-9k a hit on the bosses... waste of effort to press her button.

Was your Hina any good for damage? I couldn't find any attack that would get much over 1k, and then felt bad for making the protag be the Ether battery.

Nah, Hina was 2nd best at the beginning of the game when Lime was the glass cannon and Yuzu didn't do next to any damage. As it got further on, it became clear Hina was terrible at damage. I stuck her on support since I didn't want to waste any of Yuzu's turns. Shame, cause Yuzu had the most entertaining ether charge animation. And I think Mao had the most damaging support attack, especially since she was assigned to Lime. Did at least 600 combined, with Yuri in second place.
