Bad time for my team to put up its worst performance of the year, barely 70 points this week when my previous low was 89.

Rams special teams really let me down today. Defense got a big 0 points and Zuerlein only 1. Uggh.

Bye is probably out of the question now but gonna need to win the next 2 weeks to make the playoffs. So many teams at 6-4 or 5-5 that it's gonna come down to the wire.

Officially locked up a playoff bye, assuming jimmy graham doesn't put up 50 points tomorrow.

6 team playoff, so 1/2 get a bye. This week is shaping up to end up as:

9-2 (me)
8-3
6-5 (four teams)
5-6 (three teams)
The rest

20% of our pot goes to the regular season winner. Tiebreaker is points for. The 8-3 team has a monstrous lead in total points. No way I'll win that tiebreaker, so I really need him to drop a game. I can always win out, but I don't feel great about it.

The bye is big though, because it means one less week to consider in picking up players and makes it so that I'm in the money as long as I can win 1 out of 2 weeks in the playoffs since 1st, 2nd, and 3rd get paid.

I mean, it's pretty freaking likely at this point, but I got what I needed tonight to not have the match closed out yet. If only I had managed to reclaim my old defense, I'd have had another 21 points, and this would be a completely different story. (Somebody took it on waivers ahead of me, grr.)

Hm. Looking at the standings it's tough to say where I'm going to end up but I'm going to be dropping from 3rd to either 6th or entirely out of the playoffs altogether. That's how tight the window is right now.

Luckily I've got two winnable matches still left. As long as Freeman is good to go next week, my RB situation should be settled. Mariota has a good string of matchups coming up (and just put up really solid numbers against Pittsburgh). Might have to switch up my defense with the Rams playing against the Saints next week so we'll see what happens I guess.

Checked again... yeah... He needs a massive performance out of Coleman tomorrow. Dak did actual shit and Clement had time to shine with Eagles's lead. He was such a good pick-up from me.

Only one of those teams has a chance of beating me on tiebreakers, and only if they really pants me head-to-head in the last two weeks. Considering Nick is my opponent this week, I can knock one of those threats off outright with a win this week. If I lose, it'll get a bit more precarious.

Blah. Made a rookie mistake. Thought Freeman was gonna play but he's out with a concussion again. Already played McKinnon in the Flex so I've got to sub in Woodhead (or Ekeler) for my other RB spot. Not the worst position to be in but you shouldn't be playing your Thursday night guys in the Flex. Might have played Woodhead anyway but it would have been nice to have the option for someone else.

As for my B8 league, I had almost my entire team going on Thursday (the rest are Saints players, go figure). Let's not talk about how that went.
