While this League I'm dead and being destroyed by Arti, I'm learning the fun of my other matchup. I signed Aaron Rodgers a few weeks ago when I learned he'd come back from injury this season. I'm in playoffs but 3rd now. He'll come back week 15, so second week of playoffs.

I just have to survive with McCown/Gabbert as my two in the Wildcard game.

Tomorrow is gonna be a bummer for me.

It's the end of our regular season. In all likelihood, the guy I'm tied for first with is going to lose, and so am I. If that happens, I'll officially have been in first outright or tied for first every single week from 1-13, but I won't get the regular season winner money due to the point tiebreaker.

There's also a pretty good chance this is going to end up being the only week of the regular season that a suboptimal starting lineup will be the difference between a win and a loss for me.

Well, assuming that Antonio Brown can play differencemaker and get the ~3 points needed, I guess I lose this week. If so, I'm glad this is the week the Eagles decided to lose and not next week. (Though I suppose both is a possibility.) As such, I'd like to cheer on my opponent, but doesn't look like Zanarkand Abes has a chance to make it to 6th.

In other news, both 5-7 teams are completing screwing the pooch this week, fighting for the opportunity to miss the consolation bracket. Considering Tange's team showed up for business this week, that one's gonna come down to tiebreaker on who sucks more this week to separate 12th from 13th.

I think it is far more likely my remaining two players can't pick up the 14 needed and my nosedive continues, imo. Ever since Watson went down my team has been HOT GARBAGE so it kind of sucks I'm backing into a first round bye based on the strength of my team initially. Whoever plays me in the second round should be in really good shape as it is basically like playing against one of the bottom tier teams in the league now.

It would really suck if FFD loses by less than four points and he misses the playoffs because he played Detroit instead of literally any other defense (or no defense at all!). His team is definitely better than mine and I just got lucky the Rams defense was incredible again.

my opponent picked up Lions D within an hour before game time this week. I dropped them a couple weeks ago. As soon as lineups locked in I told him Lions D was going to end up burning him, but he thought I was crazy...sucks that I was exactly right but will still end up losing bah *shakes fist*

Damn. Those Kamara TDs and a late Funchess TD gave the 2nd place guy enough points to where passing him is gonna be impossible. I need AJ Green to outscore Bell by like 32 points lol

However...if the 1st place guy loses (he's down 40 points right now), I can still snag 2nd place and a bye if AJ Green manages to outscore AB and Mixon. Normally I'd think no way this is happening but with AB being questionable, I think I might have a chance.

I just realized my supervisor is going to miss the playoffs due to me not winning this week. That's awkward.

1st half went better than I could have hoped. The bengals dominated the ball and bell only had a couple points. Then steelers get the ball with 30 seconds to go in the half and Bell gets a 30+ yard reception and I'm down by 0.2.

Of course I never dreamed of winning but he led me on for quite a while there.

Officially snatched the 2nd bye. Ended up with 1.8 more points than 3rd. Seems my team has a bunch of good matchups this week but I'll definitely take the bye.

The guy who had Zeke in our league started out 6-1 (he also had Dak) and was way in 1st place. He had a Chiefs like collapse, finishing the season 1-5 (losing all the games that Zeke was suspended for) to miss out on the playoffs via tiebreaker by 4 points lol

That's funny. The guy who had Zeke in my league missed the playoffs by 1.5 points! He didn't tie by record, but only missed by one game and lost by 1.4 this week.

The Zeke curse is clearly a thing.

Oddly enough, he had only the 8th most points against. Must have won his games by huge margins and lost by narrow margins.

I was only stating a fact. 5 out of 6 playoff teams beat the team that we had once thought was being screwed out of the playoffs...the fact that the 6th did so head to head is actually kinda funny -- except, of course, that the reason Corrik is out is because of his record, so it isn't that big a surprise that he would have lost any given match-up.

Hoooooly shit. My team shit the bed this week. After getting the 2nd highest score in the league this season last week, I didn't even break 60 this week. Thank goodness I was barely able to snag that bye otherwise my season would be done. Let's hope for a rebound week next week...

I sadly didn't get a bye and had probably my worst performance all year in my other League. Didn't help that among such great fantasy scores of Josh McCown, Pittsburgh D, Robby Anderson (Jet WR), and Stephen Anderson (Texan TE)... none of which put up even *5* points, the first two of which were negative...

I faced Winston, Michael Thomas, and Kareem Hunt. Now, it doesn't sound that bad when I tell you that I had Gurley and Antonio Brown, both of which outscored those three... until I say this.

It's a two QB League, Antonio Brown was never gonna save me because of his other QB... Nearly 50 fucking points out of Big Ben.

It just really has had me down all day, because of the whole Rodgers thing, just needed to survive this week and instead I get raped hardcore.
