I really fucking hate country music though. Instrumentally some of it isn't so bad, some decent guitar playing at times. It makes me wonder how much effort people put into searching for stuff they like in the genre, if any. If you listen to a lot of older, outlaw country then you start to notice that many artists had their own distinct sound. Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Charlie Pride, Conway Twitty and George Jones are easily distinguishable. So is Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard.
