War Games, baby!!!

Too bad they made is shitty because of the change to the rules. War Games if the best gimmick match of all time and they messed it up, IMO

Oh well, should be a good show

It was a great show. Aleister Black and Velveteen Dream had a hidden gem of a match early on, the women's match was entertaining all around and Ember Moon winning the title was a great moment, the NXT title match was a shocker with Cien Almas winning the title in a dramatic way, and the War Games match was the closest thing we've seen in years to a 5-star match in WWE.

I thought the Velveteen Dream vs Aleister Black match was the best thing on the card, but I'm a HUGE mark for Patrick Clark and have been since his run on Tough Enough were he 500% should have won since he was clearly the ONLY person in that season that gave a shit about wrestling, and it shows now

I had no idea who the dude was before tonight because I don't watch NXT weekly, but Velveteen Dream impressed the hell out of me. Plus, I heard he was only like 23 years old or something. If that's true, he has a huge upside and I could see him doing really well on the main roster. He might be the Goldust of this generation.

Drew McIntyre tore his bicep in the match

I heard the reports. That would certainly explain the awkward finish if they had to audible because of that.

Him and Lio Rush had a great tag team at one point as well. He's a hell of a worker and I've been a fan of him since I saw him on Tough Enough. It makes me sick that he lost to fucking to Josh and that ZZ made it further than him. So sick

You can see the season on the Network. It's worth it just for The Miz as a judge, lol. He's a great talker and if you give him a bunch of rookies to poke fun at, he's going to poke. Edit = That might not be on here. It was on Tough Talk, which I don't see on the Network

And here are some of the Tough Talks if you fallow the rabbit hole -

I can tell. He was amazing in those promos I saw, and he looked great in the ring against Aleister Black. I mean, those two took a midcard feud whose premise was basically "Why won't senpai notice me!? Please notice me senpai!" and turned it into something surprisingly awesome. It was bizarre, but it worked.
