Bill Gates is a better human being; Steve Jobs was a better businessman.

Definitely Jobs. Dude became a billionaire by wearing turtlenecks and looking smug. Work smart, not hard.

Gates.

Bill knew how to use a shower and didnt stiff his best friend out of money. (Seriously, people at Atari didnt want to work with Steve because he thought he didnt need to shower.)

how often did he shower? I like to go a little while between showers myself

Gates by far. I mean, like Jobs it sounds like he was kind of a jerk when it came to business (but I suppose many businessmen are) but since then he's done a lot of good for the world. Jobs admittedly didn't live as long (partially his own fault) but Gates had already been at it for some time by that point.

That would not surprise me given how he died.

whichever one isn't the rapist

knowing jobs dealings with drugs in the 70s and 80s, he most certainly committed unconsentual sexual assault.

Gates. Jobs never gave Steve Wozniak enough credit.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p5IaCTJdVuM

Credit? Jobs didnt even give him the money from making Breakout. Jobs conned him into doing all the work, then kept most of the money.

Its funny that Jobs was known as the dirty, stinking, obnoxious hippie by everyone he worked with.

but how did wozniak personally feel about jobs? did he hate him?

Probably Jobs for continually breaking through the mainstream again and again with things that gained brand ubiquity - the iPod, the iphone, the iPad - they're the definitive forms of brand awareness of their respective hardware. That's some achievement.

I honestly don't know enough about either to have an opinion that matters but the way I see it both are/were highly respectable for different reasons.

Bill for being a computer genius and Steve for being a business genius. I would guess both are/were probably way stronger in both categories than any of us will ever be in either, but those are the immediate traits that come to my mind.

I guess at a personal level, I'm more inpressed by Steve because his particular defining strengths are the ones I don't have. Business, marketing, etc. Nit that I woyld compare myself to Bill in technical prowess but that's at least a field I know something about.

But on the other hand, I'm definitely a Windows guy, so...

Tough call, I guess.
