Corrin's stats honestly don't look too inflated either now that you point it out. He's only +4 on Virion which seems below the standard level of inflation at this point. Granted Virion has a lot more in HP which is of slightly lower value as a stat but IS has never really balanced around that anyway as far as raw totals go.

(making that comparison because their stat totals are actually pretty similar-- I might prefer Virion just because he can run Panic Ploy)

Though upon looking into it I guess bows have been better about keeping stat totals more in line than say swords.

Non-armored range units have gotten slightly smaller stat boosts. It's just hard to tell because there haven't been that many of them since units started getting higher stats. Takumi still has 1 more stat point than Lute or Rhajat. I think that makes him the non-armored ranged unit with the highest stat total.

Guess I'll skip Legendary Hero banner and go for Azura. I want Bride Lyn very much, but I despise Innes's art. If Klein were in his place, I might consider going for it. Red is the only safe color this time around, and I don't need any of them.

Let me tell you though if we get a campaign mode where you send a group of your units through a series of battles with permadeath (for the campaign run) but they start at level 1 with their default skills and you have to buy items and skills for them as you go with campaign GP that's all me baby

Got Spring Lucina with my second 5 draw on the banner.

That's kinda hilarious actually. I'm not going to complain as I don't have any decent Blue Mages, though I would've rather got Charlotte I think.

Although I see she's +SPD/-DEF which might be the best nature for her. What's with this game and giving me optimized Lucinas out of the gate. I kinda want a normal Lucina just so I can run a full team of her now.

I figure I'll skip this one since they look like they will run legendary banners on a monthly basis, and I don't think it is worth it unless you want to pull two units with the same color. I'll go in for flying singer Azura instead. A little over a month for the one year anniversary so there's bound to be something worthwhile there

Yeah I had 2 I would've liked from each color so I figured I'd just keep pulling till I got a focus unit. Only spent like 32 orbs on the banner so it was worth imo.

yep, there will be 24 hours to complete January quests and summon from legendary. but not the Christmas units. unless i get lucky in my last 2-3 summons, the Christmas banner will close at 4% for me after Rhajat ending at 4% and the previous legendary banner ending at 9.5%. that's 49 units since my last 5*. still, can't really complain, i had quite a long streak of good luck before this and the units i wanted more were the ones i got.

I just bought myself a new tablet and can now finally play this! I mean, I did play briefly a while back, but it turned out that the game took up basically the entire storage space of the device, so I dropped it quickly.

Any advice for a basically new player starting now? I don't really care about competing in leaderboards/PvP, just following the story and collecting cool/attractive units.

I think I'm just going to stop drawing for them on their banners. I've wasted like 400 orbs between Summer Robin, Vampire Henry, Axezura, and literally any Winter unit and went nearly completely blank

I did get a bad natured kitty Sakura and a Dancer Inigo out of the deal so it wasn't all bad but man yeah.

First time really grinding in this game for a while. Do have some lucky pulls here too though only armored Robin for the current banner.

He's pretty great though.

Decided to do some summons on LH banner and stop when I get a round of at least three colorless orbs. My first paid orb was Innes, the guy I wanted the least. -HP/+Atk at least. The rest was nothing standout either.

I can now make a +3 Azama. He certainly gives off the vibe of "Hehe, FU", so I'm interested in building a prankster set for him. I'm not sure what kind of nature he wants, and the only things I know he wants for sure is Pain+ and Savage Blow.

Drew my free draws on the two banners, nothing good on the Raven side, then on NY banner got Azura instantly. Guess I get to focus on farming again this month with her already drawn. +Def/-HP, not the best, but not bad.

I got soup Takumi with +Spd -Def off 8 Orbs. One of the best natures for him for sure. Just drew the non blues from the free draw. Wasn't gonna go for any but pretty cool.

Since Nowi can get honed now, I'd do it. I gave it to mine after I picked up Hinoka.

I'm not certain. I need to figure out how I will configure my two flying teams. I had been using Elincia/Hinoka/Nowi/Corrin and a B team of Minerva/Spring Camilla/Valter/Cordelia. I think Cordelia is out (for Azura) and can stick with Delthea now. I'll have to shuffle around the units then. Probably Minerva or Camilla would get it.

Three unit focus with hone fliers on green is the best chance we've had yet for the skill.

I just realized Takumi has Atk/Res bond 3, which is probably my ideal Serra equip if I don't give her close counter.

Unfortunately that +Spd -Def nature he got makes me disinclined to skill inherit him.

redeemed my google play cards. got pity broken with amelia and pulled a second takumi

so i've gotten two off banner greens (rhajat and amelia) and two takumi and a camilla. looking like no azura (i have 30 leftover orbs but considering i spent like 40 bucks the other day to pull camilla i think im just gonna cut my losses here.)

anyway a question to our resident dagger users: how is a non ideal IV takumi anyway? he doesn't really have great stuff to fodder him for so I'll probably just merge them into my -hp/+def (lol) takumi (the one i just pulled is +hp/-spd so even worse)

Atk/Res Bond is a pretty strong A skill I think. Particularly if you want to raise a staff user since their options are limited in that slot.

As for Takumi with +Def/-HP he's pretty meh without an offensive boon or a def bane I think. I basically see him as a worse version of Kagero despite his inflated stat total, with a less suitable starting weapon. Kagero is one of the best offensive dagger users so it's not that shameful to be weaker than her, but I really think Takumi's spread is kinda iffy unless his penalty is to HP or Def.

I think you could do better with a good Kagero than a +Def/-HP Takumi. I would take +Spd or +Atk Kagero over him.

I agree about Atk/Res Bond being strong option on a staff user. The killer dagger is pretty solid too and our only access to that right now. I'd hold onto the copy.

I was paired with a team in the arena today that was running three Eliwoods. 5* +10, 5* +5, 4* + 10. Not letting his art get in the way.

Decided to go for Rhajat as I was up to around 80 orbs with no must buy stuff in sight and it was a 3 unit no blocks banner.

Spent about 50 and got one. +HP/-RES. Not great but at least it wasn't a -SPD or -ATK. +HP/-DEF would've actually been probably the best non offensive based nature she could've got so shame I didn't get that one instead (or an actual good one) but yeah she'll still have some use. Distant Def 3 should still be enough to bait and kill the horse menace.

Who know what banner we'll get for the anniversary in a month. Built up over 530 orbs now, so I sure hope it's a good one.

Rhajat tempts me too, but I think I will skip it to pull for Azura hone fliers fodder at the end of the month.

I didn't even get a green orb. Went for red and got Laslow... I thought I would never run out of space again with the free barracks upgrade, but I was wrong. Worst comes to worse, I'll just have to send units home again.

i went and built my Corrin. +7 for now. saving my +spd -HP and +spd -res to get a feel for whether i want to switch to those. but i think i need to stick with +atk.

thinking about it some more, i'm not sure if i would have been better off merging both ATiki and Catria rather than Corrin, who's sort of in the middle of them. oh well, what's done is done.

I have enough ATiki's for a +10, but I would rather use Nowi for my arena core and I plan on using Eirika as my red, so I still haven't done anything with her.

i was leaning toward Olivia or possibly Marth or masked Lucina as my red to merge, so that's partially why i went with Corrin. plus who knows when i'll get 4 more Catrias, while the last Corrin is pretty much an inevitability.

though Catria + Tiki is certainly a better art combo than Olivia + Corrin <_<
