Assuming it's for Felicia I think I'd just punt Def since it seems like if she's ever facing a physical that can double her she's in trouble and +3 Def ain't helping her, with +RES vs +SPD being determined by how often she doubles.

But you'd know best beyond the theorycraft having actually used her at that level of merge

It's for Felicia yeah. Honestly every buff I'm considering is directly related to BowLyn because I use Felicia to counter her a lot of the time. The extra Res is pointless because no mage will ever kill you (barring some extreme conditions) and it doesn't help against Lyn. The extra Def would be nice but I don't think it would be the difference between life and death in most scenarios. I might roll with the extra Spd because even if it's overkill against literally any other character, being able to double BowLyn even when she initiates on you is super useful.

Freaking BowLyn man.

In other news, Healers are legit now. My +Atk Lucius is going to bring the Pain+ in Arena.

Smoke Dagger+: After combat, inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res-6 on target and foes within 2 spaces of target through their next actions.

Man I almost want to repurpose Matthew as a Smoke Dagger user but he kinda needs the +6/+6 on the Rogue Dagger to tank well.

Not sure you can gain that tanking cred with a freed up B and C slot (since I'd no longer have to use Seal Attack/Attack Smoke there)

Yeah I need to see the final stats on Smoke Dagger+ because I don't know them. If it has a lower Attack and doesn't offer the free buffs that other daggers do then it might be balanced. Otherwise, holy crap.

Matthew with Rogue Dagger would also help buff allies so it's a different niche I think.

It is. It's just weird because Matthew as I use him is there to

1. Lure dudes in
2. Tank their hits
3. Let party members wreck them because he debuffed all their stats while tanking hits.

Smoke Dagger makes him more efficient at 3 (can't really say better because he can either do -7 ATK, -0 SPD to the same area, or -5 SPD, -7 ATK to things he directly fights but it costs his B and C slots) but much worse at 2. Kind of a weird tradeoff. I think they both work but require him to be played differently. Would kinda like the ability to do either one but need a dagger user I like enough to give Smoke Dagger to (sorry Saizo my dude but you ain't it)

somehow i haven't gotten a single red from this banner. got a spring Camilla dupe +spd which i probably won't keep over +atk. basically burned through all the free orbs.

oh btw guys, make sure you collect your 200 my nintendo points for clearing chapter 1 and 2. you can actually redeem them for something useful now (2,000 feathers per 100 points, which you can collect up to 5 times).

Skill inheritance helped to protect dragons from Falchion users and now the weapon refinery is helping them deal with Naga users.

My free summoning session was 3 blue and 2 colorless. 3* Serra and 4* Kagero. I guess that's it for this banner. Going to sit on 230 orbs until my patience breaks.

It's interesting that Fjorm will not join the summoning pool. These legendary banners might become a periodic thing. She will be back end of December for sure.

I'm not really liking that the blessings can't be transferred. I have no idea what to do with it

I'm now debating if I should spend orbs on Legendary Hero or CYL or just save. I have 52 orbs, and I don't know how many I can get from the new chapters. I'm torn between red and green on LH.

Red: I want Celica, would like another Ike with a non-debilitating nature, and Ayra would be nice, of course.
Green: I want Hector for DC fodder, Camilla would be nice, but I do have SCorrin and HNowi, and Deidre would be fine, as well.

Red seems like the safer color for what I want, but sniping is harder on this banner, so...

I also want another BIke for SB fodder.

Nephenee is still a want, but probably need to skip her. Those new Tactic skills look pretty appealing for infantry/armor hybrid builds.

Wow this update is incredible. Even just the extra 100 spaces in the barracks is amazing. And I got an Ayra and Hector from my first pull on the banner <_<

I'm struggling to see the use of Blessings too, it's like Unit Support but worse in almost every way? (except you get the benefits right away instead of needing to grind I guess)

Red gives the worst 5* odds while green gives the best as usual. Since you're happy with at least 2/3 from both colors, I think I'd pick both colors and see what I get. Neph and Ike will be back sooner or later

150+ Orbs used, and I had quite the result.

Free summon was a 3* Fredrick(lol), but the red orb ended up being my first Celica! +Spd, - Def to boot.

Other units that finally arrived in my barracks were Marth, Fae, and Mae.

I also pulled Niles who is too late for me to care about at this point so he can just never show up again like he was before.

And finally, I pulled a second Hector.

So Lloyd is getting Distant Counter for sure. The question is... which Hector to sacrifice?

+Spd - Def or +Res - HP

Both seem kind of eh.

In sadder news I dropped down to tier 17 because Ursula is my only bonus unit and I kept losing a unit in the 6th/7th match. I got used to lazying around with arena and got burned for it. But hey, I have a bunch of new stuff to do in the meanwhile!

Hey, Niles is good Iceberg fodder. That's one of the most useful specials out there. I would keep the +Res Hector. -Def isn't really what you want. He'll still get doubled by everyone even with +Spd.

Don't you think Joshua uses DC better than Lloyd? Both defenses are better, and the killer weapon is nicer imo.

All this success on the banner is tempting me even though I know it doesn't make much sense for me to pull.

I have a +Res -Def Hector and he's actually a lot more viable at countering Reinhardt with that on him so I think it's one of the better bonuses to have all things considered.

Audhulma : Accelerates Special trigger (cooldown count-1). Grants Res+5.
Regal Blade : If foe's HP is 100% when combat starts, unit receives Atk/Spd+2 during combat

They're pretty close, but they made Lloyd too ugly for me to bother with.

that's not really close to me. for distant counter, Joshua beats him by miles. better res, way better def, and killer effect is better than 1 atk, sometimes 3. really all Lloyd has going for him is 2 spd at full HP, and more importantly, a higher merge cap.

That's true. The difference is less pronounced when not running the expensive DC build. But it's more fun to deck out your favorites sometimes

Word has it that you get Divine Dew by refining another weapon. Use 50 stones to refine something, then get 50 dew. I have not done this yet to confirm

That's accurate. Side note: refining a weapon does not delete the weapon. You can refine the same weapon multiple times.

In general the guys in the 3 to 4 star pool are the best choices for players that spend a lot of time in the game but don't spend a lot of money. Ike is my favorite character but I'll never get ten Ikes. I spent 300+ orbs and barely got one! If I dumped that many orbs into Blue I'd probably get like, five Donnels. That's probably what I'll gun for next actually. I have 60k feathers and I'm doing nothing with them.

Maybe I should start doing that with Kagero since she didn't get a buff. She's a bit rarer than 3-4* but I think I have like 5 of her already.

I feel like if I was going to raise a Kagero I would ditch her Poison Dagger. The current biggest threats aren't infantry and Poison Dagger doesn't have an upgraded version. In comparison, Silver Dagger++ has 9 more attack, +2 HP, and additional Spd/Def/Res. Kagero has the best offensive dagger statline so it would work nicely.
