over the past 2 months since i found out we have been trying to make things work

she actually did move out into her own place, away from her husband, and managed to fix her business and become able to financially support herself without him or myself helping her out

things have actually been going fairly okay until last week when she went on a trip with him to duke to undergo an experimental procedure for her lupus over the weekend

i was upset and i knew that she had scheduled this months ago to go and that he was fronting the bill, but i knew it was for the best since it would be a huge improvement to her health and quality of life

i saw her this past Wednesday night and everything seemed fine between us, then yesterday she completely ghosted me and this morning called me and told me that she's moving back in with him because he has been taking care of her so well lately and she cant give up on him, even though he treats her like shit 95% of the time

its now 3pm and im on my 4th beer before i go into the brewery to basically drink more beer as part of my job, so shoutouts to me for advancing my alcoholism and fragile mental state at an increased rate because im so desperate to not feel miserable and alone

Realistically , you are way better off alone than with a woman who doesn't love you.

You have two options. Wallow in misery or try to improve yourself. Whenever you have to 'try and make things work', just dont. Only delaying the inevitable. Shit happens, you should cut back on your drinking as well.
