Live action of "Erased" is on Netflix. I thought that was pretty decent though I never read the manga or saw the anime.
Following that, I watched "Your Lie in April." Loved it. Pleasantly surprised to see an anime that doesn't have a superhero/villain or crime fighting arch, but rather is about ordinary life. I know there are probably a ton like that, but it's among the first I've encountered in my limited exposure to the genre. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. ... Copied to Clipboard!

I don't know much about music but I felt the themes could be transferred to art in general. The story really captured how the drive to create is so often hindered by doubt, and I liked how it showed all the different ways someone could impact the lives of others without even realizing it.
