The Trump administration is forbidding officials at the nation's top public health agency from using a list of seven words or phrases - including "fetus" and "transgender" - in any official documents being prepared for next year's budget.

Policy analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta were told of the list of forbidden words at a meeting Thursday with senior CDC officials who oversee the budget, according to an analyst who took part in the 90-minute briefing. The forbidden words are: "vulnerable," "entitlement," "diversity," "transgender," "fetus," "evidence-based" and "science-based."

In some instances, the analysts were given alternative phrases. Instead of "science-based" or "evidence-based," the suggested phrase is "CDC bases its recommendations on science in consideration with community standards and wishes," the person said. In other cases, no replacement words were immediately offered.

The question of how to address such issues as sexual orientation, gender identity and abortion rights - all of which received significant visibility under the Obama administration - has surfaced repeatedly in federal agencies since President Donald Trump took office. Several key departments - including Health and Human Services, which oversees CDC, as well as Justice, Education and Housing and Urban Development - have changed some federal policies and how they collect government information about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender Americans.

In March, for example, HHS dropped questions about sexual orientation and gender identity in two surveys of elderly people.

HHS has also removed information about LGBT Americans from its website. The department's Administration for Children and Families, for example, archived a page that outlined federal services that are available for LGBT people and their families, including how they can adopt and receive help if they are the victims of sex trafficking.

At the CDC, the meeting about the banned words was led by Alison Kelly, a senior leader in CDC's Office of Financial Services, according to the CDC analyst who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the person was not authorized to speak publicly. Kelly did not say why the words are being banned, according to the analyst, and told the group that she was merely relaying the information.

The longtime CDC analyst, whose job includes writing descriptions of the CDC's work for the administration's annual spending blueprint, could not recall a previous time when words were banned from budget documents because they were considered controversial.

The reaction of people in the meeting was "incredulous," an analyst said. "It was very much, 'Are you serious? Are you kidding?' "

"In my experience, we've never had any pushback from an ideological standpoint," an analyst said.

It really is crazy to see how much one man can be so wrong and have people still defend him. I mean its one thing to have political differences that occasionally lead to childish and spiteful opposition, like Republicans denying climate change. But Trump, who isn't a real Republican, to do things like this that are so obviously wrong no matter how you look at it is unique. And it really shows that almost everyone who still defends him is doing so because they are so stubbornly ideological that their opinion can simply be boiled down to "whatever Trump does is what is right" and people who were so happy to stick it to liberals that they can't admit their immaturity and ignorance is actually doing far more harm to America than any of the nonsense that they say caused them to vote for Trump. Its hard to admit you're wrong, especially when people you despise have been telling you how and why you're wrong, and they ended up being right.

Just imagine how frustrating it must be for Republicans that have lived through Clinton, Bush, Obama, and now Trump? There's a reason liberals have been called condescending and elitist with shit eating smirks on our ivy league faces. Its because Republicans have had such a bad run the past 20 years and liberals have loved rubbing their face in it. Really started with Clinton and their attempts at impeaching him, he ended up making them look stupid and became one of our most popular and successful presidents in recent times. Follow that up with W, who was supposed to be their answer to Clinton, ended up being one of the worst presidents of all time and running the country into the ground while getting us into one of the worst wars in American history, all based on lies. Then we get Obama, aka black Jesus, who just took a massive dump on every conservative president in living memory. Maybe every conservative president ever. People will of course argue about Obama being great, mainly because they're sore losers and ignorant ideologues who will compare him against perfection rather than comparing him to other actual presidents. Lol and then we get Trump, do I really need to expand on that? Dude will likely go down as the least competent, most divisive, least qualified, most corrupt, most dishonest etc. etc. president in history, or damn close. Literally attacks the press and all of our intelligence agencies and the FBI and basically anyone who criticizes him at all while defending the KKK and neo nazis and Putin, and basically anyone that pays him any kind of compliment.

Can you imagine how frustrating it must be to take such solid and obvious Ls from your bitter political rivals for over 20 years? All while the news was becoming increasingly sensationalist and partisan and intentionally divisive, which ironically Fox News is 100% to blame for. Telling those people to admit that the party they were throwing for their triumphant defeat of those damn SJWs actually ended up being a huge mistake and that they made America worse for allowing their emotions and immaturity to affect them to the point of doing irreparable damage to the country is just plain unrealistic.

Of course this seems incredibly biased to some people, because the reality of the past 20 years in America seems incredibly biased in favor of liberals. Not to say that they haven't had their share of fuck ups, it just doesn't even come close to approaching that of the conservative fuck ups that I mentioned here.

TL;DR conservatives have been on a downward spiral for over two decades of their own making and its made them incapable of fighting against the far left when we actually need them to.
