For several years, it had been home to an unknown number of people, officials said. And maybe California should stop being a paragon of the green movement and let the people whose job is to fight those fires do things to prevent them from getting that bad. They weren't allowing controlled burns to clear out brush because MUH AIR POLLUTION and look what happened. Ignoring the fact that forests have been catching fire since before people existed and sending up smoke, we got a fire that dumped even more particulate into the air. Both are equally deplorable and evil worldviews, with communism possibly being even worse due to its body count. Switzerland is not a communist country. Last I checked they had the most millionaires per 1000 households.
