"Let's check the roof," you say to Raven.

"I shall accompany you!" Starfire says.

Everyone heads outside, and the two of them take your hands to carry you up as they fly. You land on the roof just moments later, but find no one there.

"Can you see where they might be from up there?" Robin asks through the communicator.

You and the ladies look around in all directions.

"I don't see them on the water," Raven replies.

"That is because they are in the air!" Starfire says as she points.

You look and see someone with giant wings is carrying Mammoth, See-More and Gizmo by the anchor chain you put on them!

"They're headed for the shore!" you say to the lads down on ground level.

"I don't have time to get the T-Car," Cyborg says.

"We'll get this," Raven says.

She and Starfire take flight, and Beast Boy becomes a hawk to join them. You head for the door back inside, but someone else springs out from behind it! Dressed in bright yellow and blue, he throws a hexagonal shield at you!

"Whoa!" you let out as you lean back to dodge.

You stand back up and this mystery attacker rushes you. You block his leaping trio of kicks, then lean back again to avoid his backhand. You use momentum to spin into your responding heel kick, but he evades while rolling towards his shield.

"An H on the shield and your costume," you say. "It's too coincidental that the Hive Five showed up just before you. Also this makes seven, but who's counting?"

"Sergeant Hive does not abandon his people," he replies as he throws his shield at you again.

*DINK* You block it with Barrier magic. Sergeant Hive runs up and rams the back of his shield, and you feel the impressive strength behind it.

"You're definitely no normal human," you say. "Though who really is?"

You use the Barrier to push Sgt. Hive back, but he adjusts and handsprings forward at you. He drives his shield down at you with both hands, but you cartwheel to the side. You swing a roundhouse, but your steel-toed shoes collide with his shield as he blocks. You use chi to push a little harder and he spins to deflect the impact.

"Rorek, where'd you go?" Robin asks.

"I'm stuck on the roof with Sergeant Hive," you say.

"Sergeant?" Cyborg says. "Didn't he used to be Private?"

"Sergeant Hive gave himself a promotion after taking over command," he explains in third person. "With the failure of Brother Blood, the defeat of the Brotherhood of Evil, and the defection of Jinx, the remnants of HIVE Academy needed a leader. Sergeant Hive became that leader."

"Well good for you," you say before bringing out...

"Arcana Fulgur Pes!"

You rush Sgt. Hive with lightning claws and he puts up his shield. Your scratch and dig your claws in, but the metal is not conductive. Not that that slows you down, your electric plasma simply super heats and melts the metal!

"Hot hot!" he shouts as he tosses his shield aside.

You swipe at him but he manages to dodge by leaning back and tumbling. You pursue him, keeping him away from his shield. You graze him, and the lightning zaps him, numbing that leg. He hobbles but keeps you back with a collapsible staff.

He spins the staff around his head and in front of him, keeping you at a distance. The feeling in his leg returns, and he pole vaults over you. You slice the staff, but he still lands on his feet. He sees the molten end of his weapon and thrusts at you. You dodge then kick it out of his hands. He rolls but you keep chase, and you corner him at the edge of the roof.

"Give up, you've nowhere to go," you say.

"Sergeant Hive always has a plan B!" he says.

He leaps off the roof! You watch him fall, but then opens up a parachute, with an H for Hive on it. He glides towards the water, and you can see the other Hive "Five" members have assembled a boat.

Speaking of, the winged villain fights in the air with Starfire and Raven, while See-More shoots his eyeball projectiles, and Mammoth mans some kind of artillery as built by Gizmo.

"They have a boat?" Cyborg says. "Y'know, maybe we should get a boat."

"I can go dolphin mode," Beast Boy says.

"Hold off on that," you say.

Sergeant Hive glides towards the Gizmo-created Hive boat, and you go from lightning claws to a bow and arrow stance. You take aim as Sergeant Hive steadies out his path towards the others.

"Arcana Sagitta," you say. "Fulgur Accudo!"

You shoot a lightning arrow, and just as Sergeant Hive lands on the boat, the arrow hits and zaps him and the others.

"Now, Beast Boy!" you say.

Beast Boy dives into the water and transforms into a dolphin to swim at high speed.

With nothing left to do on the roof, you head down via

You use magic to create a pole. You slide down the pole all the way down to the ground, which is quite the exhilarating ride, actually.

"Woo," you say. "What a rush."

"Yeah, Batman and I used to have those, but then when Batgirl joined the team, we decided to put in an elevator..."

"I see," you say. "Alright, well, let me secure Billy and Wicked with a bit of magic and we can join the others in the bay."

You find Billy and Wicked cuffed on the floor, and you lock them up with layers of Binding magic, from chains to shackles to padlocks.

"That should do it," you say.

"Okay, to the garage!" Robin says.

"What?" you say. "No, no, we won't need our vehicles to get across the water for this. They're still close enough for..."

You use wind and water elements ice and...

"Furizu!"

You turn the surface of the waves into solid ice, and it reaches in a path to the Hive boat where Beast Boy in walrus form wrestles with Sgt. Hive.

You, Robin and Cyborg hurry across the ice. You see Gizmo directing Mammoth, and Mammoth turns the artillery at you!

"Scutum!" you say as he opens fire.

The Shield spell defends the three of you from the laser gun, and you make it to the ship.

"Beast Boy, tag out," you say. "The sergeant and I didn't finish what we started on the roof."

Beast Boy transforms from walrus to weasel and scurries over Sergeant Hive's shoulder. He then transforms again into a spider monkey and leaps at Gizmo and Mammoth.

"C'mon, Sarge," you egg on. "You're not gonna fly away on me this time, are you?"

Sgt. Hive puts up his guard, and you forego any claws to be fair. You square up to him, and he takes a muay thai stance. You inch closer to each other, and you test with a jab. He swats it down, and you reset.

While Gizmo deals with Monkey Beast Boy smacking him in the head, Cyborg wrestles with Mammoth and Robin deflects See-More's eyeballs, you and Sgt. Hive stare each other down, trying to analyze the other.

You make a step and watch him put up his guard in response. You then go after his unguarded leg with stomp kick, and he falls to a knee. From there, you bring in the other knee and hit him in the head. He falls back but counters a drop toehold to trip up your legs. You catch yourself with your hands and kick your way out of the hold. You roll and stand up again, but he jumps in with a knee of his own.

You catch the knee and grab hold of the leg, and bring Sgt. Hive around into

COIN TOSS

You lift him while turning, and body slam him onto the deck with a spinebuster that even Arn Anderson would be proud of.

Sergeant Hive keeps his wits about him, and goes after your head with his legs! He attempts a headscissors hold, but you block but getting your arms between his legs and your throat. You stand up, but he still has you wrapped up. You kick him in the back a few times, and his grip loosens, and you slip out.

While he's still down, you kick Sgt. Hive in the side, all the way to the stern of the boat.

"I thought British guys were gentlemen," Sgt. Hive grunts.

"Not all of us," you say. "But even those of us who are have our limits."

You drag him up to his feet, then lift him up for a belly-to-back side slam! He hits the deck on his shoulders and neck, and he struggles to stand up.

Outside the boat, water is brought up to the sky by the liter, and you see it all heading for Raven. She's using her Water Elemental training to gather the water up towards her and send it at the winged young woman she and Starfire are battling.

While Starfire keeps the winged woman busy up close, Raven uses the water to surround them.

"Now!" she shouts. "Kangoku!"

Starfire dives down and Raven brings the water in at the winged woman! But she avoids the water prison by flying straight up. Raven chases her with the water, forcing her to fly down, where Starfire rockets in and tackles her to the surface!

The winged woman comes up gasping for air, but Starfire comes up right after. Starfire drags her out of the water and then slams her face down into the boat, rocking it!

"Surround them!" Robin says as he throws See-More over his shoulder.

Everyone circles the five Hive villains, Raven coming in from overhead.

"Raven, together," you say. "Binding!"

You and Raven use several different Binding spells, and she even uses the combination lock she used on you. The five are chained, clamped and locked down in a clump.

"Finally wrapped that up," you say, brushing off. "Let's add them to their pals, shall we?"

Raven and Starfire fly the five over while Cyborg pilots the boat to the shore. You connect Billy and Wicked to the rest, and after that

"What were you even thinking, infiltrating the Titans Tower while the Titans were here?" you ask the Hive Five-but-actually-Seven.

"It was his idea," all the others except Kid Wicked say; Wicked does join in nodding to Sergeant Hive, though.

"Right, you're in charge since Jinx went good," Beast Boy says.

"Except she was never stupid enough to try this," Raven says.

"That's what we tried to tell him," Gizmo says.

"But he was pretty convincing when he was explaining stuff," See-More says. "Something about how we had the element of surprise because you didn't know we thawed out."

"I suppose that's true," Robin says.

"And we were mostly supposed to sneak into the room where you keep all the stuff you got from villains after defeating them 'n' stuff," Billy adds. "But Mr. Slips in 'n' out o' Shadows Wicked here kept choosing the wrong rooms."

"Lay off, Billy Numbskull," the winged young woman retorts. "It's not like you knew the layout of the tower any better."

"I'm kinda disappointed Giz and Mammoth didn't know where everythnig was," See-More says. "You two and Jinx were here back in the day, your directions for Wicked weren't even close."

"That was a long time ago, Blinky," Gizmo snaps.

"Yeah," Mammoth agrees. "For all we knew, they rearranged stuff."

"Quit squabbling!" Sergeant Hive shouts at them all. "It is everyone's fault our mission failed."

"Rather reasonable for a villainous leader," you say.

"Have you guys ever considered quitting being villains?" Raven says. "You guys haven't been much of a threat for a long time."

"And that time when Mother Mae Eye was trying to wimp-ify us doesn't count," Beast Boy says. "Not even for a second."

"Pff, and be like that quitter, Jinx?" Gizmo says. "As if!"

"Yeah!" the others say, except for Wicked; you're starting to think he's mute.

"I wouldn't say Jinx quit," you say. "She just found a good enough reason to go good."

"What?" Gizmo says. "Like 'love~'? Pff, what a bunch of skuz-coated garbage."

"Yeah!" Mammoth, Billy and Sgt. Hive all say.

"Curious how you didn't say anything," you say to See-More, Wicked and the winged woman.

She glances at Wicked and shies away with a blush.

"Well, if you're going to stay villains," Robin says, "then you'll have to be locked away like villains."

Raven and Starfire fly the Hive Seven over and the rest of you follow after in the boat. Authorities come by and pick them up.

"What do we do with their boat?" Beast Boy asks.

"Doesn't really matter," you say. "Let's just have our barbecue first."

"I'll stick it in the hangar for now," Cyborg says. "Then we can get on those steaks!"

Cyborg pilots the boat around to the back end of the island, and the hatch for the T-Ship opens up. The platform comes up and the boat drives onto it, to be lowered down into the hangar. You see the T-Ship stationed off to the side.

Cyborg parks the boat in an empty space and you all hop off onto the runway.

"This is really nice down here," you say.

"Thanks," Cyborg says. "We had to be careful putting it in, though, because of the bedrock's location and all that geology stuff."

"Not as hard as the Batcave's expansion," Robin says, "but still pretty challenging."

You four wait for the elevator to come down, then ride up all the way to the top floor. You then head to Ops where the girls are already waiting.

"We have taken out Rorek's meat," Starfire says with a smile. "And his mushrooms!"

"Has no one taught her about innuendo?" you ask the others.

"It's apparently proven very difficult," Robin mutters back.

"I'll go set up the grill," Cyborg says. "BB, help me with the table and chairs."

Beast Boy goes with Cyborg while you and Robin go over to the kitchen counter.

"All the steaks need is the seasoning rub," you say. "The stuffed mushroom caps will take a bit more preparation."

You bring out your ingredients while you preheat the oven to 400 F.

"We first tear up some bred to make them into crumbs," you say. "This will be the main ingredient to the stuffing we put in the mushrooms."

Starfire and Robin help tear up the slices of bread and collect the crumbs in a small bowl.

"What should we rub your meat with?" Starfire asks while putting the steaks on a platter.

"We really need to work on that," the three of you mutter.

"But to point," you say. "Simply rub the steaks with salt and pepper."

"I'll help with that," Robin says.

"In this bowl," you say to Raven, "we stir the bread crumbs, Pecorino Romano, garlic, parsley, mint, salt and pepper. I'll take a taste test before mixing it with two tablespoons of this olive oil in the medium bowl."

She nods and sets to work. You meanwhile take the mushrooms and cut the stems off to leave just the caps, in which you hollow out some space.

"How's this?" Raven asks.

She holds out a teaspoon of the dry mixture, and you take a quick taste.

"Yes, that's a good blend," you say. "Go ahead and add it to the olive oil so that it's thoroughly mixed into a filling paste."

She does as instructed while you coat the large, heavy baking sheet with about a tablespoon more of olive oil.

"Ready?" you ask Raven.

"Almost..." she says as she keeps mixing. "Does this look good?"

"Yes," you say as you inspect the filling. "We spoon this into the mushrooms and arrange on the baking sheet, gap side up."

You and Raven take half the caps each and stuff them with the stuffing.

"Very good," you say as you inspect each of them for equal stuffing. "Now we drizzle more of this olive oil over the filling in each."

You use the spoon to sprinkle the oil on each cap. The oven beeps, letting you know it has reached 400.

"And now we bake!" you say as you open the oven. "It should only take 25 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender and the filling is golden on top."

You stick the sheet of mushrooms in the oven and close it up.

"Let's take the leftover stems of these mushrooms," you say, "and..."

"Dice them to be a topping for the steaks."

You take the stems and a knife and start chopping. You make nice little cubes out of them, and put them in a little cup.

"That should be everything," you say. "Go ahead and bring the steaks to Cyborg, I'll be up when the mushrooms are ready."

"I'll bring the drinks," Raven says as she goes to the refrigerator.

Robin and Starfire bring up the platters of steaks, him taking the T-Bones and her taking the Top Sirloins. Starfire also brings up the little cup of mushroom toppings, and Raven follows while carrying cups and bottles of soda.

"See you up there," she says as they head through the door.

"See you there," you say.

You wait on the mushrooms in the oven, watching the clock on and off. The remaining amount of the 25 minutes drags on a bit, but the delicious smell of the mushroom caps that wafts out when you open the oven door is worth it. You put on oven mitts and bring the tray out. You put them on a serving tray and set the mitts aside to bring that up to the roof.

"There he is," Cyborg says from the grill. "Alright, what cut do you want?"

"Top sirloin, please," you say. "Medium."

"Got it," he says as he picks up the cut and slaps it onto the grill.

"Here you are, Beast Boy," you say. "Half of these are for you, and everyone else gets to have about two each of what's left."

"Sweet," Beast Boy says as he loads his plate with mushroom caps.

You sit down with the others as the remaining caps are divvied up.

"So what's the plan after dinner?" Raven asks. "I know Friday will be pretty busy with packing and stuff, so we're only going to have a little bit of time left."

"We don't need to worry about training now," you say. "We can just rest up for the weekend."

"Okay then," she says.

"Mmm, these mushroom caps are great," Beast Boy says, while still chewing.

"Yeah, these are really good," Robin says.

"Thank you," you say. "It's just a recipe the family chefs taught me. They could probably do it even better."

"Here's your steak!" Cyborg says as he serves the top sirloin up to you.

"Thank you," you say.

You scoop some of the diced mushrooms on top and dig in.

"Delicious," you say. "The butcher did a wonderful job with the cut."

Beast Boy frowns.

"Oh, sorry," you say.

Beast Boy lightens up and returns to eating.

"So how long will you two be gone on this trip?" Robin asks.

"Well, we'd leave early on Saturday to arrive back in Coast City and arrange things with Ferris Air," you say. "That way, we could take off by Sunday and arrive in London sometime on Monday. Then from there, the party isn't even until next Thursday, to actually be on my father's birthday."

"So you'll be gone over a week?" Beast Boy says.

"You'll be fine without us," Raven says.

"And we can stay in touch," you say. "We have the communicators, after all."

"That's true," Robin says. "And you'll be heading back after anyway, right?"

"Absolutely," you say. "Maybe not right away, we can't just up and leave the day after the party."

"How long were you planning on staying after?"

"I wasn't really sure," you say. "I was going to play it by ear, depending on what happens while we're there. But don't worry, we won't be gone forever."

"Yeah but there's a lot of time between now and forever," Robin says.

"It won't be for months, that's for sure," you say. "I doubt we'd take that long to get back."

"Well, yeah, because we'll fly back, too," Raven says. "Right?"

"Oh, actually, I was thinking we'd drive back," you say. "We can return to the states, and drive through the North, since I already went through the South."

"Or we could fly all the way back," she says.

"But that wouldn't be any fun," you say. "There's so much to see."

"Are you serious?" she says. "We can't just waste time with traveling."

"We wouldn't be wasting time," you say. "We'd be having a road trip together, seeing the sights. There's no reason we have to rush back."

"There's no reason we can't just come back," she counters.

"Come now, Raven," you say. "What's so wrong with seeing the world? With being carefree?"

"It's tiresome," she grumbles.

"It was one thing when you went to Hawaii for a bit," Robin says, "but we're Titans. We have a responsibility to protect the city."

"May I remind you we actually saved a city while we were in Hawaii," you say. "You four protected the city while we were gone, and can still protect it while we're visiting my family or traveling through Wisconsin and all the other Northern Midwest states of America."

"But I don't wanna..." Raven grumbles rather childishly.

"You felt that way about Hawaii, but you enjoyed your time there, too," you say.

"Because we visited haunted places and saw spirits," Raven says. "Oh, can we do that in the States? I'll be more into seeing the sights if they're spooky."

"Then we'll have a spooky, scary sightseeing trip through the States," you say.

Raven smiles, which makes agreeing to such an unnerving theme for a holiday worth it.

"But that still doesn't solve our problem of you two being gone for several weeks," Robin says. "We can't be short handed in case more of our villains free themselves."

"Then call in reinforcements from somewhere," you say. "I'm sure there are a lot of honorary Titans without an established team or homebase that you could call in."

"Yeah," Raven says. "Like The Herald. Though, he usually likes to stay in his own dimension."

"Maybe we can get Jericho to hang out," Beast Boy says. "I mean, he talks even less than Raven, so..."

"That's more of a reason to replace you with him," she retorts.

"How about Wonder Girl?" Cyborg says. "I'm sure she wouldn't mind spending time in the city."

"Yeah...!" Beast Boy says while Starfire and Raven frown.

"I am not sure about inviting the Girl of Wonder to visit the Jump City," Starfire says as she coldly cuts her steak.

"Yeah," Raven says. "Though, I won't be here, so it won't really bug me. Do what you want, I guess."

Robin sighs.

"We'll worry about that later," he says. "Just try not to take longer than you need to coming back."

"Fine, fine," you say. "But that'll be roughly a week from now anyway. For our second-to-last night here with everyone, I suggest we go into town and..."

"Party!"

"Party?" everyone else says.

"Where would we go?" Beast Boy asks.

"I don't know," you say. "Surely there's something going on somewhere."

"I dunno," Raven says. "The last time we went to a party, I met Tommy Cemetary. You know how weird that eventually turned out."

"Not to mention Blackfire tried to pass off one of her crimes on Starfire," Robin says.

"Well, that, too," Raven shrugs.

"I think we can make up for that experience with just about anything tonight," you say. "Trust me, I'm sure everyone can benefit from loosening up a bit."

The others look at Robin, and he looks at each of them.

"Alright, fine," he says. "We'll go find a party."

Beast Boy and Cyborg cheer while Starfire smiles and claps.

"Where're we even going then?" Raven asks.

"I don't know," you say. "But it's fine, we'll find something."

Everyone finishes their meals and then heads downstairs.

"Hold on, let me change into something else," Raven says as she heads for her room.

"I'll wait up here," you say. "You four can head to the garage."

The others go to the elevator and ride down while you stay in the hall. When Raven returns, she is wearing her over-the-knee boots, a black no-sleeve with high neck, and all those accessories you won her from the arcade.

"Where did that one come from?" you ask.

"I modified another of my leotards because I realized we didn't really buy me a party dress for the kind of party we're going to."

"I see. Well, you did a very good job with it."

"Thanks."

You and Raven wait for the elevator to return, then ride down.

"Oh, and you have some exposed back, too," you say as you see her bare shoulder blades.

"Yeah that was for you," she smiles as she turns and shows off those shapely shoulders and trapezius muscles.

You arrive in the garage and find everyone waiting in the T-Car.

"Whoa, where'd you get those?" Beast Boy asks Raven as you two walk by.

"Rorek bought them for me, obviously," she says as you put on helmets.

You and Raven hop on Shadowfax and lead the way out of the garage and into town.

"So where do you think a group of young people under the legal drinking age can go to party?" you say as you cruise along main street.

"You're asking me?" she asks with a laugh. "That warehouse party with Blackfire and Tommy and all that was literally the one and only party I've ever been to."

"Then I suppose we'll just have to look around."

You lead the way downtown and see things slowly becoming lively. You don't want to just up and ask someone, you'd sound naive or lost.

"Hey," Raven speaks up towards someone on the street. "You know where we could party? But without drinking."

"Did you seriously just...?" you mutter at her.

"Depends," the random person says. "Who's asking?"

"We're not narcs, if that's what you're worried about," you say.

"Well, uh... I think there's probably something going on in the old stadium tonight."

"Okay, thanks," Raven says.

"Where's that?" you ask her.

"Just go that way," she says as she points forward.

You drive on and follow her directions to the outskirts of town. You spot a sports stadium, and indeed see that there are people gathering just outside. Lights are starting to turn on inside and music becomes clearer as you draw nearer.
