"Y'know," Cyborg says as you both pull up and park, "for being an abandoned stadium, this place has sure had a lot of use in our time as a team."

"That's true," Robin says. "Between Atlas challenging Cyborg to combat, our first run in with Billy Numerous, and a few other adventures, this stadium's been through a lot."

"Whoa, the Teen Titans," one of the party goers says as you all walk up. "And... Um, who're you?"

"Don't worry about that," you say. "We're all just here to party."

"Sweet," he says. "Go on in."

You lead the way into the stadium and the music is much stronger inside than it was from the outside.

"Now this looks like a good time," you say as you see the people dancing with the bright lights.

"What?" Raven asks; apparently the music is a bit too loud to hear that well.

"Let's go make a request," you say, leaning in closer. "To the DJ."

"Really?" she asks as you take her hand and lead her forward.

You make your way through the bustling crowds, moving slowly closer to the dance floor and the stage. It of course gets a bit louder because there are speakers nearby, but you use a bit of Sound magic to help your ears survive.

"Oi," you say with a wave of your free hand. "Oi! DJ!"

The DJ, with his heavy headphones and thick sunglasses, looks up and over at you. He nods and waves you up between presses of buttons.

"Do you take requests?" you ask as you walk up the steps.

"Depends on the requests," he says as he eyes you and Raven. "What you got in mind?"

"You have any Zomboy?" you ask.

"Yeah, I can do that," he says. "What song do you want?"

"As many as you have," you say as you slip him $50.

"Well okay then," he grins as he accepts.

You and Raven leave the stage as the DJ transitions from the current music.

"Nice choice to start," you say with a grin.

You bob your head with the beat as you lead the way back. You even do your best to rap with the lyrics while watching the other party goers dancing along, shaking their heads and jumping around.

"C'mon," you say to Raven, "let's move a little."

You take her hands in yours and move them around willy-nilly. She laughs and as you release her arms to her control, she moves them around in the air with yours. She gets into the music, responding to the music in whatever her body feels like.

"Not bad," you say. "I like your little shoulder shimmy idea."

"Thanks," she says. "Came up with it myself."

"Oh, I like this one already," she says as she sways with you. "Nice slow pace."

"Yes, this is a good one," you say. "I feel like it suits you, just on title alone."

"What's it titled?"

"Young and Dangerous," you say.

"Hmm..." she says as she thinks about that. "Well, I guess that really could describe me. Or any of the Teen Titans, really."

"Yes, a very good song for the Titans," you nod.

As the beat picks up, you and Raven move a bit faster as you return to dancing. You look around and see Robin and Starfire dancing off to the side while Cyborg and Beast Boy seem to be dealing with enthusiastic fans.

"Though I don't think anyone would ever think that just looking at you," you chuckle.

"Maybe that's what makes us all the more dangerous," she smirks back.

You and Raven bounce and dance your way through the back edge of the dance floor as you make your way deeper into this stadium turned night club. You see they've set up all sorts of tables and seating, which are all mostly matching, and there's even a bar far off to the side. This stadium was clearly for a major sport, so there's a lot of space to fill on just the field.

You leave the dance floor behind and enter the seating area on what would be one of the field's "red zones", going by American football. You enter what would be the "end zone", where they've put the goal posts back up and strung lights all over.

You find an open booth near the back corner, and let Raven slide in first. You slide in next to her and look out at everything from this new vantage point.

"An interesting idea, using a stadium like a night club," you say.

"Definitely out of the ordinary," she says. "They get points for creativity."

"Seven points like a touchdown?"

"I think touchdowns are just six," she chuckles. "Then there's all that extra point stuff, kicks are for one, but you can get two if you do another touchdown play or something."

"Oh that's true," you say. "So much for my joke."

"Sorry," she chuckles.

You to sit for a few more minutes enjoying the rest of the song, and a woman walks over.

"Can I get you anything?" she asks. "Food? Drinks?"

"Well we already ate," you say as you look at Raven. "I don't suppose there's a dessert menu?"

"Well, just ice cream, which we usually use for floats or iced drinks," the hostess says. "Do you want to do one of those?"

"Sure," you say. "Non-alcoholic, though. We're not old enough yet."

"Don't worry, we don't even have our liquor license yet," she says. "So two root beer floats coming right up."

"Thank you," you say as she walks to the bar on the far side.

"Y'know, you seem rather comfortable in this environment," Raven says. "Did you used to go clubbing regularly or what?"

"Well not 'regularly'," you say. "But I've been to a few here and there on my travels. There was one I stopped in while in Japan, that was a rather wild one because of the 'otaku' subculture being proudly integrated into it. Most of it moderately normal but some of it rather strange and even concerning."

"Wow, really?"

"Yes, it got a bit awkward at one point but I managed to avoid repeating the problem."

"So I probably shouldn't ask what happened then, huh?"

"If you'd be so kind," you chuckle.

"Here you two are," Robin says as he walks over with Starfire floating just behind him. "Done dancing already?"

"For the moment," you say. "Same could be said of you two, though."

"It would seem the Tamaranian Dance of Joy is too 'wild' for this particular dance floor," Starfire says. "Too much jumping and high kicking."

"Who complained?" Raven asks.

"Robin," Starfire grumbles as she sits down by Raven.

Robin clears his throat as he sits down next to Starfire.

"We should've found you two before sitting down," you say. "We already ordered floats for ourselves."

"That's alright," Robin says, "we can just order in a minute."

"Hey what's going on here?" a man says as he walks up with his own group of people. "I thought I had this table reserved!"

He looks around with an insulted expression on his face.

"Laurie!" he says as the hostess returns with the floats. "What happened to reserving the table?"

"Oh, you wanted that one?" she says as she sets your drinks down on the table. "Didn't we reserve you the one on the other side?"

"I asked for this side because it faces the DJ," the man says. "It won't do me any good to be in his blindspot when I wanna request something."

"But they already sat down and I already served them," the hostess says.

"Well then they can move over to another table," the man says. "They've got their drinks, so it shouldn't be a problem."

"Is he serious?" Raven says.

"I believe he is the serious," Starfire says. "And the rude."

"That's putting it nicely," you and Robin both say.

"C'mon, Ezequiel, don't be like this," Laurie says. "They're basically kids. You can still get a nice view of the DJ from the goal line."

"I don't want the goal line, I want the back corner," Ezequiel says. "What's it gonna take for the teen drama to relocate?"

"Nothing," you say. "We're staying put."

"Are you serious?" Ezequiel says. "You're really gonna sit there like some big shot, with your barely-legal bimbos?"

"What?!" Raven says as she stands up, offended.

"Hold on there," you say, standing up as well. "It's one thing to think you can have what you want in this club, but it's too far to insult my friends, especially my lady friend."

"Wait, what does 'bimbo' mean?" Starfire asks.

Raven grumbles and rolls her eyes before leans over to whisper into Starfire's ear. Starfire then gasps.

"I am not the air-head!" Starfire says as she stands up, also offended.

"Whoa~...!" Ezequiel and his entourage laugh. "Looks like they're in a fighting mood."

"That's the one smart thing you've said since you got here," Raven says.

"No fighting!" Laurie says.

"Relax, Laurie," Ezequiel says. "Calling it a fight would imply both sides have a fair chance of winning."

You and the Titans slowly burst into laughter.

"Is he serious?" you say as you look at the others.

"Apparently," Robin says, chuckling wiping a tear from his eye.

"Nice use of a movie quote, by the way," Raven says to Ezequiel.

"What's so funny?" he asks you all.

"Well if you have to explain it, it isn't as funny," you grin.

"Ezequiel, enough," Laurie says as Ezequiel puffs up his chest.

"Don't worry," you say. "He does have a point, this won't be a fight, because he doesn't have a chance of winning."

"What was that, mop top?" he says as he gets up in your face; he's taller, which adds to how condescending he's being in his intimidation tactic.

"You could punch me, but it wouldn't even do a thing," you say. "Go ahead. Try it."

Ezequiel glares, backs up, and clenches a fist. You hold up a hand to keep everyone, mostly Laurie, from intervening out of concern.

"Are you going to punch me or not?" you ask him as you put your other hand behind your back. "Or is the mutt all bark and no bite?"

You gather chi while he grits his teeth.

"You literally asked for this, kid!" he says before throwing the punch.

*WHAM* His fist hits your face, but you become like a stone statue thanks to your chi. He snaps back from the pain in his hand.

"Is that it?" you ask, tilting your head. "I'm not even sure I felt it."

"That, that doesn't even make sense!" Ezequiel says.

"My turn," you say as you drop your chi.

You raise the hand that was behind your back up, also very fitting to the song right now, and Ezequiel looks right up at it. Again, with absolutely no chi or magic behind it, you use your other hand to swiftly jab at Ezequiel's face! Right as the beat drops, you stop short, letting all the air pressure blow into his face and mess up his hair.

Ezequiel, eyes wide open from shock, wobbles on his legs for a few seconds, then staggers back.

"W-What did you just do!?" he ask.

"I simply threw a punch," you say. "If you were frightened by it, that's on you."

Ezequiel hesitates, then straightens himself out.

"I'm gonna... go to the restroom," he says. "It's not related to this."

Ezequiel runs away, and his entourage hesitate before awkwardly following.

"And I wasn't even trying that hard," you grin at the others as you pick up your drink.

You take a sip while Cyborg and Beast Boy walk over.

"Hey there," Beast Boy says. "What was with that guy?"

"Nothing, really," Raven says. "He was just barking up the wrong tree."

"I know what that's like," Beast Boy says as he slides into the booth.

"Laurie, before you go," you say to the hostess. "Root beer floats for my friends, please. The four of them. And, perhaps something simple to eat."

"Perhaps a bowl of pretzels?"

"Will do," she says before heading off.

"Hold on," Raven says as she gets up. "Beast Boy, go around to the other side, Rorek was sitting next to me."

"Alright, alright, stop shoving," he grumbles.

"Beasty~!" a young woman says as she comes over. "C'mon, keep dancing with us~!"

"Uh, yeah, sure," he shrugs.

He walks back with this young woman and her friends while Cyborg sits next to Robin. Raven ushers for you to slide into the booth first, then she slides in after you. This makes you feel a bit odd, though, being between her and Starfire.

You watch Beast Boy dancing with a small flock of females near the middle of the dance floor. You remember what the others said about his lost love of Terra, and the questions surrounding the look alike. While Beast Boy probably won't find love just randomly fishing in a club, he can at least have some fun.

"What're you thinking about?" Raven asks as she leans into you.

"Just... stuff," you say.

"About Beast Boy and Terra?"

"Yeah, actually. Good guess."

"Well, it's not like the rest of us haven't thought about it," she says. "If that girl isn't Terra, then he should probably move on."

"But what if it is her?"

"Then, I don't now," she shrugs. "He might still have to move on, if she isn't willing to come back."

She sips more of her float while Laurie returns with four more and the bowl of pretzels, all the traditional pretzel knot type.

"Thank you," you say.

The others each take a float, leaving one for Beast Boy when he's done. Everyone digs into the bowl of pretzels, and enjoys the bread and salt mixing with the chilled root beer and creamy vanilla ice cream.

"Who is this again that you requested of the DJ?" Raven asks.

"Zomboy," you say. "Met him while he was on tour, clearly makes great music."

"I definitely like his name," she smiles.

"Oh that's creative," you say as you nod at Beast Boy. "He's transforming into animals and dancing at the same time."

"So hey, with packing tomorrow," she says. "Are the things you ordered for your dad going to arrive on time?"

"They should," you say. "Can't very well leave without them. I'll see about wrapping them as presents..."

"Before leaving. I'll be sure to round up our gift wrap while packing."

"Alright," she says. "But, well, it should be different from the basic black gift wrap you used for your sisters."

"You sure?"

"Yeah, it'd be kinda cheap," she says. "And if it's one thing you've shown me is that the Null Family doesn't do things 'cheap'."

She smirks at you, and you smirk back.

"I'll make sure to buy more birthday themed gift wrap then," you say. "And a birthday card, I suppose."

"Yeah, and we can both sign it!" Raven smiles.

"I suppose so," you smirk. "Getting a gift for someone in my family, together, is a big step."

"Is it?"

"Well, a pretty good sized step," you say. "But I'm glad. It actually means a lot you want to have your name on the card."

"Oh. I just thought it would've been rude if I didn't get him something so I was piggy-backing onto yours. But, I'm happy you're happy."

You two smile, and you even give her a quick peck on the cheek before sipping more root beer.

Raven smiles as she bobs and shimmies in her seat to the music. You chuckle as you reach an arm around her before joining in with the shoulder rolls. You both end up laughing a bit but keep grooving all the same.

Beast Boy makes his way back from the dance floor, though quite a few girls want him to stay. He seems out of breath when he returns to the table.

"This one's for you," you say as you slide the remaining root beer float to him. "I think you need it."

"Thanks," he says as he picks it up.

He sips, and sips, and sips, then finally stops, sighing in relief.

"I like being super popular and all," he says, "but I'm not sure I like having to work so hard to keep it."

You and the others chuckle a bit.

"They really do like you, don't they?" you say as you see all the girls glancing over in turn.

"I know," he says with a confident smile as he leans back. "It's pretty awesome."

You sit back and relax while everyone enjoys the root beer floats and pretzels.

"Oh, Laurie," you say as she passes by. "Go ahead and bring the check. We'll be wrapping up soon."

"Okay," she says before heading to the bar.

You and everyone finish up with the snacks and drinks just as Laurie returns, and you take care of the check.

"Forty bucks for just drinks and snacks?" Raven says.

"Well, these aren't so much drinks as dessert drinks," you say. "They're floats, so that's more than just ordering root beer."

You hand over the money without complaint, along with an extra $5 as Laurie's tip. Laurie takes the money and returns to the register, and the six of you make your way out of the stadium club. Beast Boy's flock of ladies wave to him, and he waves back as he continues on out with the rest of you.

"DJ!" you shout as you pass the stage. "Thank you!"

You give a thumbs up, he gives a thumbs up back.

"We get, we get, we gettin' to that money," Cyborg and Beast Boy follow along.

"We get, we get, we gettin' to that money," Raven joins in, to everyone's surprise. "What? It's catchy."

"That it is," you say.

You and the Titans exit out of the stadium, but standing in your way of the parking lot is Ezequiel and some of the men from his entourage.

"You're gonna pay for making me look like a wuss!" Ezequiel shouts as he rushes you.

You move as he thrusts his hand in, grabbing his arm, but that's when you he has a knife! The blade doesn't touch you, but then the blade shoots out!! It stabs right into your side!!

"ROREK!" Raven shouts.

You fall back, focused on the blade inside you. You glance up and see Raven, teeth bared like a vicious animal, her aura forming claws as she lunges at Ezequiel. The others move to either keep Ezequiel's entourage back or keep Raven from tearing them and Ezequiel to shreds.

You look back at the blade, and hold it to make sure it doesn't go in any deeper, or prematurely slip out. You hobble over to Shadowfax and to your knapsack. You rummage in your Magi-Pocket for the medical kit. You haven't had to use it for a long time, you can't really remember where you put it in here. You pull out the deck of playing cards, the moon dust, your sketch pads and art supplies, none of which are helpful.

You glance over and see Raven using shadow tendrils to slap the stuffing out of Ezequiel! You want to root her own, but then realize that she's going a bit too far.

"Raven, stop!" Robin shouts.

"Raven, please!" Starfire says.

The Titans try to get closer to her but the lashing tendrils won't let them. They instead fall back to keep the members of the entourage safe, so it's really just Ezequiel taking the hits.

"Raven," you say. "Raven!"

Raven stops slapping Ezequiel to look over at you, her glowing red eyes softening. Also, you now learn her eyes can glow red.

"Stop beating the piss out of him and help heal me," you say. "I can't find the med kit..."

Raven puts away those tendrils and immediately flies over to you. She's hesitant as she sees the metal in your side. You tear away your shirt to get to the skin underneath, and see the blood seeping out.

"I'm going to take the blade out," you say, "and you quickly heal as fast as you can. Okay?"

"Yeah," she nods, mana at the ready.

"Three," you count, "two, one!"

You quickly yank all three inches of the blade out, throwing it aside, and Raven begins the healing spell. The pain eases, the bleeding stops, and the wound closes, without a scar.

"Thank you," you say with a sigh of relief.

Raven wraps her arms around you and kisses you deeply on the mouth. You're a bit out of breath once she lets you go.

"And thank you again," you manage to say.

The other Titans have apprehended Ezequiel with handcuffs, and then a police car arrives. His entourage lingers, but Ezequiel is still taken into custody by the officers. Robin meanwhile picks up the knife blade removed from your body and puts it in his own evidence bag.

"That was some kind of spring-loaded or ballistic knife, which is illegal in California," Robin says. "Ezequiel is looking at misdemeanor battery, which is no less than six months in prison and a fine of $1000. Though, that's assuming his criminal record is clean, because a second offense boosts it to a felony, which is no less than two years and $10,000."

"Hope that was worth getting back for being humiliated," Raven glares at Ezequiel. "Which you didn't, by the way."

"As for holding onto the blade," Robin says, "I'll look into where he might've gotten the knife and stop them from selling more of these."

"Wait, can't we make a deal?" Ezequiel says. "I can give you the guy I got it from if you take away the jail time!"

"Sorry, we don't make deals," Robin says.

He then nods to the police, and the officers Ezequiel in the car. They drive off while Robin puts the evidence away.

"You good enough to drive back?" he asks you.

"Yes, I'm good," you say. "The Healing Spell was perfect, it's as if he never even did the damage."

"Alright," he says. "See you back at the Tower."

The other Titans go into the T-Car while Raven hangs back with you.

"Are you alright?" you ask Raven. "I appreciate you going after that trash on my behalf, but that was a bit on the 'out for blood' side of things."

"Sorry," she says. "Lost my cool, I guess."

"Well things are all better now," you say. "Let's head back."

You and Raven put your helmets on and drive back to the Tower. You pull into the garage and to the usual parking spot. After putting helmets away, you and Raven ride up the lift to the top floor.

"Do you want to join me in shopping tomorrow?" you ask. "We can go

"Sounds good," she says.

You arrive and exit the lift.

"Well, I suppose we should be getting to bed," you say as you walk down the hall.

But Raven suddenly pins you to the wall and plants another deep kiss on your lips.

"Raven," you say in surprise as she interlaces her fingers with yours, forehead resting against your cheek. "Some warning, please."

"Sorry," she says before nipping your chin with another kiss. "Just... With the good mood from the club, and the scare with that guy and his knife, I just felt like I needed to comfort you, or be comforted by you. Something like that."

"Well don't worry," you say as you take her face in your hands. "I'm just fine, because you saved me."

You give her soft kisses on her cheek, and she giggles.

"And we'll have plenty of time to comfort and enjoy each other's company once we're headed to the UK and all that," you say before giving her another kiss on the other cheek. "So let's just get some rest, okay?"

"Okay," she says.

You two continue down the hall, approaching her room.

"Do you mean that, about getting rest?" she asks. "Or are you just saying that so you can say you said that?"

"No, I meant it," you say. "Though, I do really like those bare shoulders and back."

She turns to show all of that bare skin, and smiles over her shoulder.

"I-I'm just going to go," you say, "and call my sisters. Let them know when to expect us."

"Alright," she says. "Nice self-control, by the way."

"Thank you," you say. "Good night."

"Night."

You walk away, and enter your room as you take out your phone. You know the time difference means it's still very early in London but you don't want to stay up any later on your end. You bring up your sisters and call. You sit on the bed and take off your shoes while it dials.

"Rorek?" Rebecca says as she answers while Roselind yawns. "What're you doing calling so early? Or, late for you, I guess."

"I wanted to let you all know to expect Raven and myself sometime on Monday," you say. "We'll be flying out on what will be... Well we'll try to leave on Sunday morning our time, and the flight time... Well, at the earliest, it'll be the middle of the night, but still a Monday, when we arrive."

"Rory, it's too early for us to understand math," Roselind says while she stretches.

"Just expect us to arrive some time on Monday," you say. "Depending on the timing, we'll make sure it's during hours you'll be awake."

"Okay," Rebecca says with a slight yawn. "Thank you for letting us know. We'll let Mother know, and then let the Wilmarths know so they can clean up your room while preparing one for Raven."

"Thank you," you say. "That'd be very appreciated."

"What kind of room would she like?" Roselind asks. "We can make sure to reserve one before Renee and the others show up and inevitably argue over them."

"Yes, of course," you say. "I hadn't even thought to ask."

"See?" Roselind says. "We are good for something!"

"Sometimes," you smirk. "Then, make sure you reserve her a room without windows. Her room here at the tower doesn't have any windows, so I think that'd be best for her."

"Okay, got it," Rebecca says. "What other things should we make sure she has?"

"Nothing too bright and frilly as far as the bedding goes," you say. "Other than that..."

"Oh~?" both twins say. "A visit, hmm~?"

"Just to talk," you say.

"If you say so," Rebecca smirks.

"I'm sure the two of you have 'talked' plenty of times," Roselind smirks.

"We haven't had sex yet, if that's what you're thinking," you say.

"But we'll be sure to have the guest room closest to yours reserved for Raven," Roselind says. "But we'll just put 'Reserved' on the door. We don't want to give the others an idea of who it is that's staying in there before actually meeting her."

"Good idea," you say. "When are they going to start arriving?"

"Probably Monday, same as you two," Roselind says.

"There've been all kinds of calls all week," Rebecca says. "Mother's been fielding them, so chances are the other families were calling. I think she convinced a few not to arrive even earlier, since you're not even here yet."

"Good to know my role as a prize can help keep them all under control," you mutter.

"Hopefully there won't be too much overlap in when you arrive and when they arrive," Rebecca continues. "That might create a bit of chaos."

"Well if it all goes well, we'll arrive very early in the day," you say. "We can slip in under the cover of night and be there to meet whoever arrives first."

"Here's hoping," Roselind says. "Could you imagine, all 20 of them arriving as you pull up with Raven in tow?"

"They might as well all just fight right then and there," Rebecca says with a chuckle.

"That would not be good for anyone," you say. "But that will be then. See you all in a few days."

"Bye, Rory," the two say together before hanging up.

You put your phone away, go to the bathroom to brush your teeth, and return to your room to sleep.
