I got 1/3 through the episode and gave up on it. Normally I like the concepts but the way it was executed just made it so damn boring.

I gave it a shot and for a while it held my interest but eventually it just felt horribly serious, cynical and bleak without having much to say on its subjects. So most of the entertainment just came from the premises and acting, which I guess just isn't my cup of tea.

I haven't seen that many episodes of Black Mirror, but I can at least somewhat agree. I still think it's decent, but it's nowhere near as good as The Twilight Zone, the show it so desperately wants to be.

I find that with Black Mirror if I read a synopsis of an episode I'm interested in it. But if I actually try to watch that episode I wind up being put off by it.

I watched the first two episodes... Yeah, it's kind of a downer. It reminds me of that HBO show about the motel room... I'm not sure if I like it or not. I preferred the second episode to the first, which was sort of stupid. My opinion so far is "interesting but meh."

Yeah I think that is the first episode after they were picked up by Netflix and they dramatically increased the production value

Im not a fan of the third episode of season 1 or 2. The Waldo one is probably my least favorite of the entire show

I would imagine the only people who hated Black Mirror were either really hard for technology, to the point they think it does not have any flaws, or are just really "slow" and just cannot grasp the overarching themes and moral points. Plain and simple, Black Mirror is an extremely well written show.

a few episodes were ok, but I only watched the first two series. I heard the latest one is good, but I really don't trust my friends' taste in TV shows since they also think the walking dead has a riveting story...

Idk, I'll probably check it out eventually, but I'd rather stick to the twilight zone.

I actually think it's the opposite. I know the ways in which technology is flawed. I know the tendency for society to misuse technology. Black Mirror takes these to the extreme to show what ways it can go wrong. There's crisis but there's no resolution. The show doesn't present a way to address those flaws.

Classic Twilight Zone is one of the best sci-fi shows of all time, especially if you roll the clock back to the late 50s into early 60's when it came out, it was so ahead of its time when it first aired it's not even funny.

also I'm fine with opinions like those of papercup and Kollin6618; at least they're thought out and reasonably critical. my opinions most closely align with FourthDimension on the show. I don't find 'depressing' shows all that depressing as a person with depression. I find it enjoyable, I mean, the world might be ****ed up, but it isn't quite like a Black Mirror or Twilight Zone episode! If you feel bad from an episode, well, okee dokey!

That was my least favorite episode. I hated that one and I never need to watch it again. The rest are mostly decent or good, but White Bear was terrible.

It's a very hit or miss show for me. Some are interesting and others are super boring

I felt like the Waldo episode was painfully predictable, the episode made me feel nothing at all.

White Bear really stuck with me. I still think about it.
