If they were all dented but I wanted to buy it, then I'd still buy it with just a little dint. I also look over the products to see which one in the best of all of them. In super markets, the stuff in the back usually expires later. But if you had a the choice between a dented can, and a non dented can, why would you choose the dented one? Most food waste (restaurants and food service places excluded) happens in the home. People let food spoil or toss things like mad. I eat what I buy, and I don't buy dented cans. If I dent one of my own cans I use it that day so it's not wasted.
